What's new

Line lock

I loved it in that time, dont know about now as would be looked at as an outsider being retired.

A few years before me. Ford Island was awesome.

That red crap valve would have never made it onto Ford Island, (one of my duty stations) In service to my country.

If I can find it Ill sell you a stainless "Robbins Aviation" -4 valve.
The vendor begged me to delete my review and sent me another. I'm going to try it one more time. I'll give them an extra ugga chugga or two. I'm also going to build a beefier extension becase that shit is going to be hard to turn.

Welp, got the new valve today. The ends don't bottom out so the tighter you make it the harder it is to turn the handle. Same as the previous. So it's never really tight. I increased the shaft size to 1/2" , made a new firewall guide and a heavier duty valve mount. Now the whole booster moves when operating the valve.

I welded a 3/8" handle to the knob and made a new dash mount.

The good news is everything is stainless now so no painting.

What a circus this turned out to be. :homer: ...If it don't leak I'll be happy with it. If it leaks well I'll just get an electric one.

I've never had dumb assembly problems like that with a boring old chrome plated brass ball valve from china...

Well, the micro locker has been great until about a month ago. I pressure washed my engine bay, and I'm pretty sure I got water in the solenoid and it's now dead. I'm strongly leaning towards looping my parking brake back into the cab to pull the brake pedal

For whatever it's worth. My valve has been working better than expected. Very convenient and easy to set.
