Negative but if you buy the kit from dcs thats what they recommend, id imagine any cable cruise servo would would workYes, but figured since you have a superduty, you were talking 7.3 powerstroke.
Is there a magic trick with the 7.3 idi servo over the V10 one?
He is looking to buy a place. On trackThen find a fucked up house to remodel. That's what I'd do
Put a pipe bomb in it. Let some pos in ABQ steal it. You get insurance money and hope the pipe bomb goes off and kills the thieves
But there is no boost in economy, that's my point. Just downsides to it being idiot protected from the factory. If you're cruising 75 it's going to be injecting the exact same amount of fuel with 4k springs as it will with stock ones. The difference is when you're running up through the gears getting everything up to speed, then the truck will respond much better. And if you don't need the power, let off on the accelerator pedal and it will get the exact same economy. That's the beauty of a diesel, it only burns as much fuel as you ask it to.Then do it on yours id rather have the little boost in economy since i specifically built the truck just to haul my wheelers. Put just over 10k on the truck with zero problems with not enough power.
I went 75 and 80 as much as possible. Highway all but an 100 miles. But I got stopped in construction twice, and I spent one hour bull shitting with the guy I picked up parts from. Stopped to piss twice.Cruised at 61 mph for 800+ miles?
I did an overnight trip from western NY to Chicago suburbs (~650miles) to visit my family and pulled 23 mph with cruise set at ~60 mph. No fuel stop, 35 gallon tank.
I didn’t mind to drive slow… save fuel and less fatigue from never need to pass anyone.
Would have been zero times with a race catheter and a well place hole in the floorboardI’m not sure what I’m more impressed about. The mileage or the fact you only stopped to piss twice.
40 or 48 gallon?Mighty impressive overall, especially for something that’s still emissions intact (if I recall correctly).
Hindsight, I sure wish I’d of gone long bed for our 6.7 truck to get getter enclosed gooseneck angles and the 40 gallon tank vs 26 gallon tank.
I’m not sure what years got what. Dads 2012 long bed is 42 gallons I think. And this alumaduty long bed is 48 gallons and 7.5 of DEF I think.40 or 48 gallon?
Mine is a 12’ so just assumed 40 gallon tank for the long beds. Either way, we have an auxiliary tank plumbed into the system so our bladders are the limits on road trips.40 or 48 gallon?

I bet a payment on a newer one wouldn’t pencil out to to any savings on that 1.85 mpg difference. Not sure if that makes me feel better or worse about my 16 DRW averaging 11
I get that it's a dually, but it's not overly low geared (3.73) so I'm always disappointed in fuel milage
Yours has to be the 48 gallon I assume? And also assuming that’s pulling a trailer? My bad I thought we were on 2017+ trucks.
I know next to nothing about the earlier trucks.
In my truck the wind direction makes all the difference.
For the first 90 miles I was over 10 mpg then the further west we got the more it started blowing and the more the mpg started sucking. Finished the trip at 9.0 on the lie meter.

I’m still a little sad every time I put a leg in it and instead of instant plaid mode acceleration it’s lag city. I know my six faux wasn’t stock so it’s not fair to my 6.7 to bag on it. But man, for a no trailer road trip I miss my little gray traffic rocket for passing Sunday driving morons.
I bet my 6.4 would have smoked it and left you scratching your head as to what just happened. Nothing wrong with my 6.7 other than just being a stock 6.7 with a single VVT turbo vs the Sequintial twin turbo setup + a little deletion and tuning. My 6.4 was 498 hp at the rear wheels on the rollers. I think our stock 6.7’s are about that at the flywheel. Then you gotta pay the automatic tax.Is your truck broken or something? My 22 is a rocket.

I’ll end up doing it. Currently still drink big DEF though.I hear adding the big D to these new 6.7's makes a big power difference on top of the fuel milage increase.
My dad recently added the Big D to his and won’t shut up about how fast it is and what great milage he gets.I hear adding the big D to these new 6.7's makes a big power difference on top of the fuel milage increase.
does he not know the first two rules about derete club?My dad recently added the Big D to his and won’t shut up about how fast it is and what great milage he gets.

I should have specified year with the initial post.My bad I thought we were on 2017+ trucks.

It’s all relative. Compared to my 460 truck Geo tracker or work gasser the 6.7 is lightning fast. Compared to my RZR or dads race car, everything feels slow. Talking rate of acceleration here. My 6.7 isn’t bad, I just have a lot of miles in the seat of a truck that would leave it in the dust.Plan would be sell the F150 and dually, then shoot for breaking even or very small loan (<$10k) still debating on 7.3 gas vs 2017-2019 6.7
I find it hilarious you think the 6.7 is slow. I'm always impressed how fast it moves my 10k lb dually
