There’s videos all over YouTube with people showing all the stores that are closed all over in kalifornia. Thousands of stores all boarded up and gone. Much of this is in areas of kalifornia that were healthy as opposed to areas like Compton.
100% of this falls on their progressive government with their soft on crime policies. No law and order and people will run amuck. Rampant drug use fueling thefts on stores to support drug users habits. If the crime is under $1,000 it’s just a misdemeanor and cops won’t even bother with it. I don’t think they bother with above that amount much either knowing the criminal will just end right back out on the streets.
Grant it, it’s in most progressive democratic cities this is going on not just kalifornia. But deep down it saddens me to see a place like California end up in a shit drain that I don’t see much of a way out of. I honestly do not understand the logic thinking of democratic progressive thinking pushing for this to happen. Who in their right mind <- impossible for them to have that, would want to be in power over a shithole community?
It’s a vicious cycle happening right now. Crime causing stores to close putting people out of work, rinse and repeat until nothing is left but rotting buildings. Then it moves to another area to feed on.
Obviously legalizing drugs isn’t the way to go, look what happened up north in Seattle WA. They reversed the legalization of drugs law because that experiment didn’t work out well fucking dumbasses It’s 101 and not rocket science to figure out what’ll happen legalizing drugs. People using drugs can’t get or keep employment jobs as you can’t work high. You’re a legal liability for a company if they do keep a drug user employed. If the drug user gets injured or involved in something else, that company could be sued and lose it liability / workman’s compensation insurance all together. So drug user is now looking for other ways to pay for their drugs as by now, they’re full on addicted as fentanyl is mixed into everything out there. So they resort to stealing from stores and or residents like one of y’all on here to pay for their drugs. Now the rot is starting. These people now living on the streets homeless and ODing on a daily basis. Some get saved by narcan but others pass away. Now there’s trank (horse tranquilizer) drugs mixed into the fentanyl and other drugs. No narcan to help with that and it’s insane what it’s doing to people. It’s literally rotting their limbs off of their bodies. Really gross.
Now kalifornia wants to put a stop to some of this but as usual, the progressives won’t have any of it. I don’t understand that honestly. There’s a measure that people are putting on the November ballot, not sure if it makes it or not. And Newsome is acting like he wants to help stop the mess he’s help make. I’m afraid it’s too little too late and as long as you’ll have road blocks in the way, I doubt anything will turn around with it. If they really wanted to stop it, they’ll need to build a ton more prisons to lock people up for the crimes they e committed. Then you’ll need extensive drug use programs to maybe get some of the people off of drugs but I think a large percentage of them will go right back to using them.
I have ideas but they wouldn’t allow them to be used in our society. It’s not that I’m anti freedom as much as I’m anti crime against other people in our communities.

California tightens laws on retail theft, targeting repeat offenders
California Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bipartisan package of 10 bills aimed at curbing retail theft, targeting professional crime rings, and repeat offenders. The new laws, signed on Friday, focus on cracking down on repeat shoplifters, auto thieves, and those reselling stolen goods.
