yankees call them Jersey Barriers, the rest of the transportation/traffic world calls them TCBs and PCBs. Traffic Control Barriers or PCBs, Portable Concrete Barriers.

Its cheaper to sell them at a loss than to just dump the bad/leftover batch and pay to have it disposed of. Most arent pretty, pour lines and rock pocketing, but they get the job done. I get em free

I'd have to line 300 feet of cars to get that to work

Actually, both crashes were within 50 feet of each other:
One was a 4 runner going southbound too fast that tried to head on into another car... weaved into a tree. Weed may have played a part.

The other was going northbound direction and also looks like they were going too fast. Claims to have been trying to avoid an animal. No skid marks and video sounded like no braking at all.
