JK and JL inner C's

Anyone know if the inner C's between the JL and JK are the same, similar, completely different?

Lots of JL outer knuckles now but not much for inner C's. Looking for a semi custom racer front axle build.

They're different axles. They beefed up the JL axles with one exception, the FAD (Front Axle Disconnect). It's their Achilles heel as they're know to bend in that spot under heavy off road use.

Don't the JL's use aluminum outers? I'd assume the ball joint spread on an aluminum knuckle would be larger and probably not the same as a JK inner C. Didn't one certian model of the last year(s) of the JK come with thicker inner C's as well?

Think they recalled and swapped the alum knuckles.

I may be thinking of the steering box tho.

Not the same. Upper ball joint is loaded on the JLs, among other design changes for extra beef…

Which they mounted an aluminum knuckle to.

I knew the Mojave did, didn't know the 392 had them. Good to know. It's nuts the number of different options used on these rigs and the slight variations.

It's a little obnoxious. The package I wish they made was a mojavicon.. basically a rubicon with steel knuckles and the Mojave spring/shock package
