And 93% of voting Irates were wrong. Me included. After seeing some of Tyson's training videos, I thought he had a better shot. Maybe that knee injury hindered his training, I dunno if that contributed to it, but his footwork wasn't there and he wasn't fast enough to get away from that left hook or right jab. Too bad too, because everytime JP threw that lunging jab, he'd drop his left hand, Tyson just wasn't fast enough to dodge it and take advantage with a counter right. We all know it's a young man's sport, now we really know.

I think this fight was better...

Do they allow them to take testosterone? She has a lot of acne and it looks like a lot of history of it for a mid-late 30 year old woman who probably eats very well.

Yup, I like me some college football and ice hockey, try it you might change your opinion.

Oh and fuck pro anything.:stirthepot:
Pro or college….. its no longer about the game!!!!!!!!!

College ice hockey….. I wouldn’t know…. But probably not as infected as the more popular sports!!!!!

Tyson fight looked fake but if so, what about all the side bets Paul made. Some of them were for over a million dollars and were made by other fighters. Paul may have some splannin' to do...

I know shit about boxing, so I rewatched it. Tyson was energetic at the start, but slowed down as the fight went on. He perked up in the final two rounds for a bit, but you could tell he was tired.

I think it was legit for the most part. Tyson was moving quite a bit in the beginning and Paul genuinely seemed afraid of Tyson getting a solid hit on him. That's about how I thought it would go. Jake could win if he avoided Tyson knocking him out. I think Tyson could still hit hard, but he didn't have the energy or endurance. I do think they both seemed to want to go the full match and were pacing in the beginning, but by the end, Paul was obviously holding back and not wanting to embarrass Tyson. Just my .02

So the feed cut out on me at some point and I cut out too apparently. I woke up at 3am on the couch with a empty beer next to me and Netflix scrolling at 99% still. I remember them talking to Irving and him implying JP would win and thinking it was odd.

Is it worth it to watch it now, was it at least a good fight?

Not worth the effort it takes to turn on the tv.
Now the chicks fighting was a brawl.

Yeah, in the training videos we basically saw a stationary Tyson just throwing punches. What they were careful not to show is that he basically can't move. I mean, he damn near tripped and fell walking out to the ring.

This fight showed there is a huge demand for some good ol' fashioned entertainment. Of course I hoped for something better, but I can't say I'm disappointed.

I really thought Tysons hard wired technique would carry him a bit. The heavier gloves, shortened rounds, and fewer number of rounds really tipped their hand on how this would go. As soon as I saw that first old man stumble in the first minute, I knew he was done. Props to Paul for not humiliating him.

IMHO, It was a scam and a payday, just for entertainment purposes. I think the real loser is gonna be Netflix and that production company.

Although regular Netflix was solid, just the live feed so it may fall more on the production company.

No idea on how boxing treats testosterone but my neighbor is 42ish and she has acne. I assume she eats relatively healthy as she is fairly thin and doesn’t have the frame to be thin if she didn’t eat well. Probably not as well as a boxer though.

Either way that chick got robbed. Serrano won the fight and the fact that the judges scored it unanimous for the other girl show what a joke boxing is. Was a great fight but the judges scoring screams corruption.

Paul realized in real time that this was a huge mistake and he's literally fighting an elderly man. He could've hurt him but he held back and I respect him for that but it's time to boycott this dude's fights until he fights a real opponent. He lost the one time he fought an actual boxer in his prime and no one would know who Tommy Fury was if his older brother wasn't Tyson Fury.
But he can tell his grand kids he beat Mike Tyson. That's all it is.:lmao:

My thoughts after the fight are that Mike wanted to fight again. He didn't care if he won or lost, he wanted to feel the thrill. As for Jake, he wanted the chance to fight his hero. He didn't want to knock Mike out, he wanted the pleasure of fighting him.

I don't know their testing schedule, but there are certain roids that are out of you system very quick, and can possibly be used if you can plan when to be off them.

I am on this.

First couple rounds looked like Tyson could punk him, but then sure he got gassed, he is almost 60

Looked like a scam all the way around. We never saw the real tyson in the ring.

In my opinion, I think Mike was frustrated he couldn't do what he used to do in his prime. You could see him trying his signature moves but his body just couldn't keep up. I've seen that in older athletes who try to hang onto their youth. No doubt he still hits like a truck, just can't bob and weave like he used to.
