I ain't the one to blame.
We have a few decent gun shops I drive by that have decent revolver selections. Seems like the pawn shops here want new prices for everything.Pawn shops are your friend.

Could be. I have no idea when the front site was shaved and the rail installed. The Hogue grips are stamped S&W, but I imagine you can buy them aftermarket. It looks like a no dash that’s had a rail installed.
I thought the S&W frames were milled, but I see investment casting defects. Nothing serious, but I’m surprised.![]()
There are probably exceptions I don’t know about, but the dash for engineering changes is generally stamped with the model number. Sometimes there’s a double stamp if they have left over frames that can still be used.![]()
It’s an imperfect world we live in, full of disappointment. And A-cups.I thought the S&W frames were milled, but I see investment casting defects. Nothing serious, but I’m surprised.
Also, that’s a drop of oil that photographed weird.I thought the S&W frames were milled, but I see investment casting defects. Nothing serious, but I’m surprised.
That oil spot does look like scabbing, but the gas inclusions are what make me say that’s a casting. Also, that’s a drop of oil that photographed weird.![]()
