Irates over 40

Turned 40 back in June. I feel no differently than I did at 20, nor have I changed my lifestyle. Testosterone test showed high-normal levels. Only thing that sucks is I have less hair. I had great hair all the way till my mid 30's, then I seemingly lost it overnight.
"Normal" testosterone levels now are way lower than they were 20 years ago. "Normal" goes down every year.

I heard levels are plummeting in young men. So yes if that is normalized low T will be normal.

Has the reference range used in medicine changed since 20 or 30 years ago? That would be interesting. I tested total T at 690ng/dL with 916 being the top of the reference range.

1 Never used the stuff...I can always take a good healthy crap, cause "I Eat me spinach".
2. Ate at a Cracker Barf Barrel once. IMHO: Waffal House is for me!
3. Quick with the cards... Always tip a solid 20% cash to waiters.

Fuck; I am 71.6 years old. I have a bad knee and getting really pissed about it! :mad3::mad3::mad3::flipoff::flipoff::flipoff::flipoff:

A little south Philly thing from the olden days. I would tip the bartender a $50 on the first drink. By the end of the night the tab would be around $10 bucks.:beer::beer::beer::beer:

Done this since the beginning of time
Wife and I (and "pool Friends") drink in the Pool in Cabo ALL DAY for another $20

Joined the PBB in 98ish in my late 20's and was lost in the great crash and signed back on ASAP. Was a fucktard that enlisted after 9/11 in my 30's and did a few tours of the ME as a result. Don't use Metamucil, or eat at CB. I still feel like I'm pretty fit and work out every day and can do more than most of the fat asses I teach currently. I do for sure know that I'm old as fuck when I hear my knees creak and have to use hand rails when using stairs:flipoff2:

Any given day of being over 40.

Turned 40 back in January. Two young kids keep me going.

Also, Cracker Barrel sucks.

What time do you old fucks take your Metamucil? What's your favorite meal at the Cracker Barrel? How long does it take you to take your credit card out the reader when it starts beeping? What time do you have to leave your house to make the early bird special? There, that should cover the new old fuck threads for a while. :flipoff2:
Don't do Metamucil, No Cracker Barrels around here, Pull the card on the first beep, don't do early bird specials.
I'm old, not crippled or senile.

Lighten up Francis, the OP was a joke in reference to all the other old fuck threads that have popped up this week.
So was my post, you no-sarcasm-understanding, copy-cat posting, "dia-bee-tus" pronouncing, Golden Girls lovin', square-body Chevy driving simpleton.

Those chicks are almost all in their forties. :flipoff2:

Lifestyle reality hit at 59 (7/8/2024) with a heart attack and quintuple bypass surgery. 100% blockage in one artery, 50% in 2 others, 30% in the other 2. No crazy pain, just didn’t feel well. Was (am) in good shape, no blood pressure problems, genetic high cholesterol, but poor diet is what did me in…

41 years old and no Metamucil yet, joined the old site in 2000 with the group that transferred from off-road[.]com with Chris? Favorite meal at the Barrel of Crackers is any pancake breakfast. Oh I just use contactless credit card payments.

Never touched Metamucil. I went to breakfast at a Cracker Barrel once with my folks when we visited them in Texas.

I can eat whatever I want (I do have to watch the spicy now). Never ordered a early bird special. I go to bed at 2300, get up at 0500 M-F.

I am “regular” without any special dietary supplements.

My liver is my hero. If 21 year old me drank what I am capable of drinking now (not that I do it all the time) I would be a mess for a weekend :barf:

I wouldn’t trade places with 30 year old me for anything :grinpimp:

44 here. Still feel good. Can work as hard as I ever did, but it’s the recovery that gets me. No jumping over truck bedsides anymore. Don’t drink as much either. Hangovers are a two day affair. Live with some sort of mild pain everyday but was pretty abusive to my body when I was younger. Lots of motorcycle wrecks and such. Don’t need no shit powder which is amazing because my diet is pretty bad:laughing:

44 last month
No Metamucil
The barrel is too far away to know
1 Beep
No early bird, I despise getting up early

41. No Metamucil, but do track fiber intake. Ole tortillas are better than regular ones anyway.

Never liked Cracker Barrel. I don't understood paying so much for breakfast food.

I let it beep, but get grumpy when they don't have tap. Odd thing to get grumpy about I guess.

What's this early bird special? How do I sign up? I'm in bed at 8pm, so in addition to saving money, I can be home early. Sweet.

I have one year left of employer sponsored school - I'll have been a student for 25 years of my life. So really, I'm just a kid about thinking about what I'm going to do when I grow up.:grinpimp:

65 This month. Still feel good and do whatever I want. Had a heart attack and coded out in 2001...went on with life and never looked back.

Same here. I can eat it, no problem, I just pay for it the next couple of days.

45 near the end of the year, maybe 46 I kind of stopped paying attention.

Cracker Barrel sucks.

I tried Metamucil when I was eight. I thought it was gross. But I’ve always liked ensure.

Stumbled upon that P place in 2001, I’m a lot blinder and balder now. Same size clothes :flipoff2:

Gonna be 59 in a couple of months.

Never will need that Meta stuff, the Crohn's keeps me going.

No CB anywhere around here but I did hit up a Denny's with GF yesterday and we dined from the seniors menu.:emb:

I don't have access to the P place anymore but I joined up before the email problem and ended up rejoining again after that account became unaccessable. I would guess I first joined in maybe '96 or so.

Your generation fucking failed at teaching your kids how to drive. I just drove through a "truck meet" of teenagers and the motherfuckers can't back a pickup into a parking space without a spotter :shaking:.
