Interesting meth head problem

you can filter by state and county. look him up and see if he's in jail
138 pages of people in that county. I looked through 32. Lost interest. Boy we have some f*cked up people around here.

I hired a laborer for a remodel, great worker when he showed up

Nothing ever went missing

But it was evident he had an issue, likely meth

If I settled up at the end of the day he'd disappear for a few days, so I changed my ops

On Monday I'd give him a little money, $25 or something and tell him I was short and we'd settle up tomorrow. Tomorrow I'd give him $60 or something and tell him I was short and we'd settle up weds. I had other shit going Thurs and Friday so I didn't need him. I'd settle up and he'd go and get fucked up For 4 days:laughing:

Mexican drunks?

A few months back I had 2 cement trucks full of tinted paid for mud ($4300) showing up at 9am and 930am and at 8am a different Mexican shows up and tells me Jorge is in fuckin Yale, parties too mush and drives

Then the help starts pouring in and getting lined up, including Jorges high school sons. At one point they were huddled up by the truck watching his court appearance

Turned out nice though, and at 3pm he gets released and calls to apologize

Thats sounds about right:grinpimp:

I must have missed it in the fine print.

3 payments of 15k, 15k and 15k?
Or 15k spread over 3 payments of 5k, 5k and 5k?

Cause if its $45k, what does this dock look like and even more important what do you park at a personal $45k dock? Cha-ching :flipoff2:

Staying away from the lowest bidder definitely doesn't make you immune from ending up with a meth head.
Of course not, but it cuts out the bulk of them. Hell the meth heads aren't really what I'm trying to avoid by cutting out the lowest bidder. It's the handyman or guys who do single family shit that have no idea how to bid commercial work I'm avoiding. They're the ones who fuck themselves bidding too low and end up having to be supplemented, make the job take forever, or keep coming back with their hand out for more money.

Your local county jail most likely has a name searchable roster you can look for him on. Our bumfuck rural ass town does.

Docks/boathouses on a local lake commonly run 75-100k & some are double that.

Steel I beams, composite decking, boat lift

It all adds up.

WH had a long ass dock and that grating is $$$. I doubt it was 15k cheap.

I dunno. I live in the middle of a desert. Seems high to me. I can think of a lot better shit I could buy with 45k than a dock.

I assumed it was really nice. There is no middle class in Florida around water. So either it's a baller dock for his yacht or it's old telephone poles with pallets. $45k and I'm thinking "ah yea it's for the yacht".

:flipoff2:

You clearly don't have boat money.

Marine grade lumber isn't cheap, even on fresh water building is expensive.
Right? It's easy to spend as much on a dock as the boat that goes on it.

The dock buys convenience. Once you're into it for 50k, might as well add lights and so on ...

Probably for steeling lumber and hardware. The type of stuff one might build a dock out of.
A buddy of mine had this happen to him.
Hired a meth head to build a detached garage/work shed. Every two to three days, dude would drop supplies off, told my buddy not to worry about full payment, they would settle up after it was finished (Half down, half when finished) Hadn't heard from the guy for a few days which wasn't totally unheard of, till the police showed up to his house and informed him that the guy had been hitting up local building sites stealing all the stuff he needed to get the shed built. Ended up having to take him to small claims to get his deposit back.

45k for a dock?

The 45k does not include the decking and the drawings/permit. I’m into it about 60k. (Assuming he takes my money) I also was surprised at dock prices. My budget for a Yacht is under a 100 grand. I hope way under.

Exactly. And if you've got the boat money anyway the dock isn't exactly killing you.

And before some brokedick with a pontoon boat chimes in, I'm talking about boat people, not the type of people who have a boat but can't really afford it.
