I saw a “Big Time” company plant some poles at a restaurant marina. They had the pumps hooked to these two nossles that were shaped like a partial moon. They clamped them on the pole hanging off a barge. They just lowered the pole down to the height and pulled the nossles up.


Edit, there was clay down about 2 feet below the sand at my place. The clay was about 4 feet thick and then sand again. My neighbor who planted his own poles said that there is another clay layer down 6 feet below that. (My poles didn’t go that far)
