Don’t see a hinge. I had an 800. It had the U bolt in the hood, but it did not fold.

Mine was a 62’ also. It had sliding side windows. I’m pretty sure there was no hinge. I need to check some pics.

The dash photo shows one of the big easy to grab bolts that holds the frame. They switched to wipers on the bottom when the went away from folding windshields.

Scout 80s had folding windshields the whole run, 800s weren't officially offered with folding windshields, but there seem to be few out there with them.
