don't forget the eight or nine framehorns around the steering box regionIf you throw eight front end parts kits, four engines and five transmissions at it I can see it.

I wasn't aware that problem persisted into the GMT400. I thought it was a squarebody only thing.don't forget the eight or nine framehorns around the steering box region
I haven't seen it be a fatigue issue but they do rust out and that's a high stress areaI wasn't aware that problem persisted into the GMT400. I thought it was a squarebody only thing.
whoops, indeed it is IFSI wasn't aware that problem persisted into the GMT400. I thought it was a squarebody only thing.
I know what the pics showed but I thought 91 was the end of SFA for K5, k2500, and k3500. And 89 was the end for k1500. I may be way off on that though as I haven’t looked at it in over a decade.whoops, indeed it is IFS

The second gen like yours are better but the first gens are complete shit. Dualed single wheel axle with low quality, likely water soaked fiberglass and rust everywhere the fiberglass meets the steel. I'm an OG yotard but I'm an honest yotard. You shut your filthy whore mouth
Mine's an early '88. Ordered it in April '87 and took delivery in Sept '87. My trade-in was an '87 4x4 stepside with less than 3K miles on it.'88 was the 1st year ofnthe newer bodystyle for the 1500's and reg/extended cab 2500 & 3500's. Crew cabs through 91 stayed with the "squarebody" style along with K5's and suburbans
