I know what the pics showed but I thought 91 was the end of SFA for K5, k2500, and k3500. And 89 was the end for k1500. I may be way off on that though as I haven’t looked at it in over a decade.

'88 was the 1st year ofnthe newer bodystyle for the 1500's and reg/extended cab 2500 & 3500's. Crew cabs through 91 stayed with the "squarebody" style along with K5's and suburbans

Mine's an early '88. Ordered it in April '87 and took delivery in Sept '87. My trade-in was an '87 4x4 stepside with less than 3K miles on it.
