I think it formed in the usual place, just rolled up the Mexican coast and made a right turn
A lot of people just lost everything including their transportation last weekwhat's stopping them?
Yes they do form in the atlantic, then some move into the gulf, sometimes (not often) they go west into South America sometimes those have enough power we get rains all the way up to New Mexico! Most either go horth or slightly east, some even directly east this one is predicted to turn east enough to possiable hit your bit of paradiceThey always come from the Atlantic. That's why this area has never had a direct hit.
Weather is showing hood for the show- provided it can be set up for. Our move in date is Wednesday Thursday, just so happens to coincide with when storm is hitting.I have been considering flying into Fabtech for a day, just to check out the new offerings from Trumpf since we desperately need a new laser. But if it's hurricane central, maybe not.
I just read they may be shutting down at 9am tomorrow. Something worth looking into.I fly into Tampa Tuesday.
Hopefully.
Vehicle problems, work demands, and health.what's stopping them?
175mph currentlyThey're saying it's Cat 5 now...good luck folks!
My parents and brother are in the Brandon area, other brother is near lecanto.
Both Parents were here in Utah until my dad flew home Saturday night to board up the house.
Unfortunately I have a large event in Vegas this weekend that I cannot miss for work(self employed) but if its catastrophic, my mom and I will be driving from Utah next Monday with supplies to help out.
Hopefully our extreme planning will be a waste of time.

This is why I never left when I lived there....but they are saying the evacuation traffic has their way out blocked.
Pretty much. I'm keeping up with Ryan Hall here and there. Guess this one depends on how much Mexico land slows it down (if at all). My friend is in Dade City. Looks to be in the direct patch of this. This is why I never left when I lived there.
Leave four days early and miss work and 90% of the time it would miss where I lived.
Leave two days early and get stuck in an I-95 traffic jam that ran from 520 all the way up to Jax.
Add to that the fact that my gf and I both had TJ's and neither could carry enough fuel to get out of the state when you consider that you'll be sitting in traffic and competing for the same gas at the exits as everyone else.
My former employer has stores all along the I-4 corridor (Winter Haven, Kissimmee, Orlando, Longwood, DeLand, and Daytona Beach plus New Smyrna, Gainesville, Jax, Pinellas Park and Sebring) so I know lots of folks who are going to be impacted as well as my former customers.Pretty much.
