Backstory:

Wife has had cat since a kitten, before we got together (she's 13 now). Her littermate came with, but died in 2020. My dog passed away as well this past May. Up tot hat point, the cat has always had another (or multiple) pet companions in the home.

End of July, we took a trip and left her alone for about 52 hours. A week later, we went on vacation for a week and left her home alone (plenty of food and water, clean litter, etc.)... and she hasn't STFU since we came home... constantly yowling for attention.

She won't let me shoot the cat, so what's the alternative?

Wifey unit has a cat that talks back to her constantly, She likes it and it kills mice in my barn so I tolerate it. Get it a friend so it's no longer lonely or kick it outside to go hunt.
