I'm replacing the main hydraulic hose that feeds back to the cooler. I'm trying to get to Napa tomorrow afternoon for them to make a new hose. Might happen tomorrow, might not.

The loader will NOT hold pressure overnight and I don't want to use the safety stop because I've heard that can damage the cylinder.

That is a Lodgepole pine that I cut a few days ago as part of mitigation from the grove behind the pic.

What say the IBB? How long will that log hold up the loader? Is there a better way to do this? I need the loader to be up in the air so I can re-install the hose.

Can you at least chain or strap the bottom of that trunk to keep it from kicking out?

You are special. Pull the pin that FOrD intended for you to use. The one below the F

It uses the outside of the cylinder, not the seals. Dibs on the Chevy. :flipoff2:

I'm not sure how it compares but...

I supported our 580B bucket with the lifting lugs on the "roll cage". I used a 1½ pipe through the two lifting lugs, they are about 36" apart. I wrapped a ½ cable sling around the pipe with a come along attaching to the bucket. The come along was equipped with 5/16 cable and a snatch block.

The 1½ pipe bent overnight, destroyed the come along and left imprints from the sling and the lifting lugs in the pipe, it deflected about 6" from a stright line that it was :homer:.

My TL150 has has the loader locked up for about 2 weeks now and I'm not worried

I gotta clean trash out of the fuel tank and service it

Why not just drive the loader up to a tree, rest the bucket on that and set the parking brake?

Right now you're just being dumb splitting that log with the edge and the log end in the dirt.
