So ugly it's cool. :smokin:
If you want to find one head to a drag strip, them are a very popular pit/ track bike.

Can’t believe nobody has mentioned the 250-450 swaps available for the Grom.
Talked a local guy in to doing the 300 swap. It had power, but took a lot of fuckery to get it running right, and it never passed a gas station.

I put 17k mi on my Grom and a ton of mods, and my take away is leave it mostly stock and enjoy it for what it is. If you want more, get a bigger bike.

I can't sell it. A friend gave it to me after he bought it for his son new and the kid would never ride it.
I need a pit bike for my wife to ride around at the SxS races. I race a Honda Talon and a Cub would be the ultimate pit vehicle. Tell your friend it's for a good cause! Seriously, if you ever sell it please let me know, I've always wanted one. :smokin:

A Fat Cat would be my second choice.

I want a Grom, but Its embarrassing just thinking about being seen on it. I couldn't imagine actually doing it in real life

They're doing a 125 SuperCub but it's not even even kinda cool in a retro way.

Been out for a while, my old man has one. Has an original as well, he’s getting the CT125 when it’s available to match his original Trail 90.

Cut down fenders and billet wheels really makes a difference.

I want a Honda Ruckus. Or maybe a big Ruckus.

or Trail 125

Get her a Coleman CT200, big comfy seat and beer rack on the front and back

you should consider taking yourself less seriously
it's really great

Well as far as a pit bike, a play around the house bike or a smaller road race training bike they would be great. To actually ride on the road like a normal full-size adult motorcycle. No way in hell. You would look like a fawking idiot. Unless you a 4'10" tall adult male, grow a set and get a real motorcycle.

what do you want to use it for? If it's a plated bike to put around on, I'd get a tw-200 so I could take it down some dirt roads too.

We ran into 2 guys out in Moab last year riding brand new TW200's Out of all the Jeeps, buggy's, SXS, etc, those 2 guys looked like they were having the most fun of everyone. Crazy enough, they were actually 1 serial number off from each other too.

Where I live, even the gay folks would kick your ass if you were caught driving either of these bikes.:lmao:

I dunno, I'd be freaked about riding in traffic with my back at bumper level with most fullsize trucks, but maybe someone who's a better rider on the street wouldn't mind. There's a whole crew of dudes who have restored Trail 90s and old Z50s who cruise Monterey on sunny sundays. They definitely don't take themselves seriously and it seems like there's a little more safety riding in an angry buzzing little mob.

My buddy has one and they're fun as hell. Low seat height, big old balloon tires, street legal, just enough power to do dumb things if you want, but not so much that you'll die... generally. Wife and I agreed we're gonna get one as soon as I make some room in the garage after our jeep is done.

I would love to do the trip. Would be an amazing ride for sure. No way in hell id do it on a grom unless Honda was giving me a couple and paying me good money to do it. After riding 1000cc sportbikes on the road and 250 and 450's in the dirt. I would have to have something with some power if I was funding it myself. I don't take myself seriously, but cruising across countries on flat roads at 35 mph would make me want to kill myself. I want to lose my shit having to follow people that drive 55 on a highway.

I rode mine in rush hour traffic on the interstate every day. In fact, most vehicles gave me WAY more room (200+yds) BECAUSE it's so small.

Regardless I get it if it's not 'your thing'; some people care about looking cool, others don't and have more fun. :flipoff2:

A spec. Grom class would be pretty fun :grinpimp:

Otherwise I'm having a hard time convincing myself I need one except I could probably be "that asshole" that commutes to work via the bike path on it :flipoff2:
We have that here in CMRA and TMGP (Texas Mini Grand Prix). Basically you can change a external stuff, but can’t change internals. CMRA is a shortened big track that we are already using for the weekend, so it’s a bit boring. Mostly kids doing that, due to it’s all full throttle, so a lightweight rider is key. TMGP is done on go cart tracks and are much more fun And technical. Most of those riders are “retired” CMRA racer that are still wanting to have fun without the expense of big bike and high probably of massive injuries.
