Probably 6 months ago or so I acquired a bunch of Wagner and Griswold pieces . They will certainly change your way of thinking in regards to cast iron . Light years better than todays junk imho .

It’s not necessarily budget cooking, but we’re talking about camp ovens/ Dutch ovens with legs now. I make cobbler in my Dutch oven and it’s badass.

Been longing for a chili cheese dog; saw this on FB; thought I'd try it:

Nuked two for 1min then sliced open:

Forgot to take a pic putting chili on. After chili I topped with shredded cheese:

Nuked it twice at 30sec each/end results:

No too bad; definitely satisfied the chili cheese dog desire.
