Have you ever nammed a boat?

Eleanor

meh

Ma named their giant ass pontoon boat after herself, THE GENERAL.

Fil's boat was called 3rd Time's the Charm, had to change it when he got married for the 4th time

A friend named his vessel the "HMS Foreskin". I had a yellow trihull I named "SS R. Kelly". Named another boat the "Dan Seavey"

My Catalina 25 is named Wind Dancer. I should've named it Stabbin' Cabin. Bathing suits seemingly fall of on the damn thing.

When a friend of mine got a cabin cruiser, he was trying to come up with a name for it.

His daughter came up with "Ship for Brains".

He almost named it that until he thought out the following Coast Guard scenario:

Him: May-day, May-day. My engine is dead and I'm taking on water.
CG: Sir. Please identify your vessel.
Him: "Ship for Brains" <radio crackle>
CG:
Him: I repeat, "Ship for Brains"
CG:
CG: Must be a prank call........

When my brother was a lifeguard on one of the local lakes in high school they named their row boat the USS Teabag. I always planned on stealing that one some day.

just finished getting a 17 Sea Hunt back on the water, In named it the Sea-rona

When i bought my 1969 Cal 29 sailboat I renamed her from "My Sanity" to "Traveller", after Robert E. Lee's war horse. But don't tell anyone else or they might riot and burn it to the water line lol. I bought a little jon bot off my friend Buckethead from work, so named it "chum bucket"
