Hey y'all. Have some 265/65/17 Hankook Dynapro ATs on my 2010 4Runner.

They have maybe 15k miles that I put on them over the last 2 years. Rotate them about every 5k. Car gets partially daily-ed, split the drive time with my coupe.

We do light/medium off-roading with them, think all the intermediate stuff at Uwharrie. Not crazy with rocks but certainly not devoid of them. Run about 18psi usually.

There are lots of little cracks and cuts in the tires and some of the tread has significant chunks cut into it. What do y'all think? Normal expectation for that low miles with offroading, or something bad going on? The photos are examples of the trouble spots, there are certainly more than that.

Oh yeah, mfg year on the tires are 2021.

Seems normal to me, at's aren't great for wheeling.

On the flip side. We have the rebranded version of these on our F150 and they'll have 90k miles before I pull them off

Yeah, kind of on the fence with them. Have my 1.5 year old in the car, last thing I need is a ripped up tire on the highway. There are a few worse spots but I couldn't find them in the moment. How do yours look with how many miles?

And NorCal, just getting some feedback. Not terribly experienced with offroading tire wear and trying to learn. 🤙

These have 85k miles

Not really any wheeling, but a fair amount of gravel roads, which can tear up ats.

I do also have the actual Hankooks on my F350, I towed a decent load on a gravel road a few times and spun a bit going up hills. Tore the shit out of them. But I still don't think they're anywhere near unsafe.

Appreciate the pic! I guess ATs get it worse from both ends being easier to get roughed up on the highway and also on the trail. I guess I'll let these ride and see where it goes.

Looks like standard wear to me considering they have been offroad. Really any type of wheeling is going to tear your tires up more than what you would see if they never left the pavement.
