Intersting take:
ummmm... second window open to roof...
So did suspect climb latter or get on roof from window? :tinfoil:
Intersting take:
These second-shooter theories are interesting, but I'm not convinced there was more than just that single shooter. If Trump had taken a direct hit to the head, then I might have a different opinion. But the kid missed, because he wasn't very good. Any trained shooter would not have missed.
Some of the audio comparisons that call out multiple shot locations makes me question if they're hearing the sonic crack of the incoming rounds prior to hearing the report of the muzzle. At that distance, it's probably around a half or so second delay.
I'm also not convinced the rooftop sniper team was the one who shot the assassin. If we're to believe they were using 300 win mag rifles, based on the ballistics videos posted previously, I'd expect his head to have practically exploded. I suppose the shot could have been closer to the base of the skull in the meatier part of the neck area, but a headshot from that caliber seems like it would have splattered him all over the roof pretty good. That's of course assuming the up-close photos of his head are actually him. I'd be curious to know if it was a small-caliber rifle possibly fired from the open window behind him.
One thing that does stand out to me as odd is how far the rifle is away from the body. I understand that police will often toss a weapon far out of reach of a suspect, even if that suspect is very obviously dead, but police don't tend to leave the body once discovered. Some of these aerial helicopter shots show the body with no obvious police presence anywhere on the roof, yet the rifle is several feet away. If he truly took an incapacitating shot to the head, I don't see him pitching the gun, so I'd expect it to be right there with him. I suppose all the police could have left the roof once he was confirmed dead, prior to retrieving the body, but again, it just stood out as odd.
Wtf?
