gun shots at trump rally

Ladder was attached to building, not "left out for him"

Did he fire 8 times or were there 8 shots total?

I saw something saying the ladder was attached to the building, one of those that doesn't go all the way to the ground. Then crooks brought/bought a 5ft ladder to get to the attached ladder. All unconfirmed.

Please point out exactly which is not correct.

Most of what he wrote is 100%

-They "knew he was there". They identified him as a suspicious person - "knowing he was there" means nothing. They "knew" thousands of people there there and there were likely dozens "suspicious persons" They didn't know he was a shooter or even had a gun until how many minutes before he took a shot?
-There's no indication the he hauled the riffle or a riffle case in immediately before he shot. Or that it was even brought in on the same day. Very possible it was brought in the day or days before and stashed nearby.
-"A ladder was left out for him". Says who? The are reports that he bought a 5' ladder at home depot before the shooting. I "suspect' there was an access ladder to the roof that couldn't be reached from the ground and a short ladder was needed to get to it. Speculation again, he stashed the ladder at or nearby or at the building to be used day of.
-He didn't take 8 shots
-SS apear to be watching Crooks but don't shoot - it's already been revealed that the snipers shown on multiple videos aren't the ones who took the shot. We don't even know if they were watching him or someone else. As of now, there are no videos or even pics of the snipers that apparently actually shot him.
-"Complex IEDs" - again - says's who. We know "explosive devices" and some type of remote detonator were found. We have no idea how complex they were. According to Ape Eaters, any 20 year old could build a simple device without consulting the internet. One of the pictures I saw showed a remote control that looked like a simple remote outlet control you could buy at home depot. Hardly complex.

Nobody's arguing the incompetence surrounding the SS a the event, but spewing random "facts" that are either straight up verifiably false or, at best, speculation, does not help anything.

So the ladder was unsecured.

This.

For a bunch of people who are willing to think critically about police. media and .gov statements in any other context there's a bunch of retards here who are happy to just take whatever they want to hear at face value.

Double standards like that are a huge part of why modern society is so fucked.

Most of my points are covered here and elsewhere. Look at the timeline, for example. They say up to 8 shots. Most reports say 8 shots.

how much is just speculation by the "news" these days?

I take it back on the ladder. First reports I read were that it was a "cut off" ladder that you need a short ladder on the ground to access. Hadn't seen this pic before.

But again. No evidence that it was "left out for him". Perhaps he stashed it there days before and it was missed?

walks in

waves to cops

"hey which one of you assholes took my step ladder, I need it to get a women's purse off the roof of a porta-shitter"

Would probably work 9x/10

Welp, that clears that up. Those trees would be a good place to stash a rifle too.

Why did you cut the word “fairly” off of my comment about the ieds? It changed my truthful statement that they were “fairly complex” to something less accurate. A remote control IED is fairly complex considering that most use fuses or a cigarette burning down or wires.

Or that was put there to retrieve the corpse. Who knows?

A friend was at the event and thinks he heard gunshots from another direction before the suppressed fire from the SS but after an initial couple of shots from Crooks position on the roof.

I think it was quite possible that someone befriended and radicalized Crooks to use him as a patsy for the assassination attempt.

Crooks position was inside the perimeter on a highly visible roof
The SS and police knew he was there an hour? before the shooting
He would have had to haul a rifle case most of a mile in public view
People alerted police and SS to a guy with a gun on the roof
A ladder was left out for him
There should have been people on that roof but they were inside
Trumps SS detail had been mostly or completely replaced with incompetents
Crooks was known to be a poor shot
The SS snipers appear to watch Crooks but not fire (or do anything) until he fired at the president 8 times
Crooks is the only 20 year old in the US with no social media presence
Crooks happens to be registered as a Republican but nothing else is known about his politics
He somehow knows how to build fairly complex IEDs but no one knows how.
At what other vantage point would the real assassin shoot at Trump from?

How in the hell did he get a ladder there before or during the event without being spotted? This is beyond incompetence.

.
I don’t think that is his ladder. It was there. Possibly for the people that were supposed to be watching the roof

.
Reports are he bought it that day from Home Depot. How did he hall a ladder that long to the grounds too?

The other thing is, how did he know how tall of a ladder he should buy? Did he case out the grounds prior?

can this secret service bitch thats in charge get fired and flamed publically

He didn't need to. Check out google street view of the location.

I really don't think that tall ladder was his ladder. I thought he purchased a 5 ft ladder from home depot which would have been tall enough for him to reach the roof top and pull himself up.

I thought the cop that 1st tried to get on the roof then backed off was reported to have been pulling himself on to the roof using both hands...

.
There's a guy whose whole schtick is to see how many places he can get into just by carrying a ladder. He has quite an impressive list of places he's gotten to.

Most people assume a person carrying a ladder is supposed to be there. Why else would be be carrying a ladder?

I think people are mixing up feet and yards.
from the link I posted...

Evidence of the 448-yard shot was submitted to the U.S. Secret Service shortly after Crooks was killed, according to two elite experts who have frequently served in security missions globally. They are often called on to train snipers for the Secret Service, SWAT, and sniper teams at many federal agencies and tactical teams at state and local law enforcement agencies.
