Nothing much to add but UPS makes deliveriers every day yet FedEx can't deliver one in 3 weeks. Fuck FedEx!!!!!

I prefer FedEx. It may get there late, but at least it's usually in one piece. Roughly 1/2 the parts shipped into work are damaged that come UPS. They ignore any package labels about "This Side Up", "Do Not Bend", "Top Load Only" and just throw shit around. I can't conveniently remember how many grilles and trim pieces I have gotten broken that clearly have foot prints on the packaging. Fuck UPS in their brown ass.

100% excellent service with FedEx. Faster than all carriers, cheaper to ship, customer service is sold as fuck, and shit arrives earlier than projected. Never had a single problem with them.

Very large and heavy packages are shipped FedEx Freight & require pick ups from FedEx Freight hub...

FedEx Ground does large but light pkg will go through such as a mattress or signage.

UPS does deliver very large packages, so sort of a win-

I really think any of them boil down to just what level of turd handles the package: if your ups driver sucks, your ups service will suck. with ours, ups is okay, fedex is iffy but act like i might as well live on mars. USPS is riddled with incompetence, tracking never works until after the fact, but somehow they end up getting stuff delivered for the most part.

The real question is that with all the excuses those 3 throw out, the fact remains that Amazon, at least here, has managed to throw together, in about a year or so, a level of delivery service far above any of them, with the same or lower level of people for employees. their excuses just kinda fall flat now.

Yup, I was supposed to get a package of meat from my sister’s farm on Thursday.

It didn’t show up today, it’s probably bad now. Now I just hope that I am here when they try to deliver it so I can tell them to take it back, keep what they have turned into trash. I have already lost my shit on the driver for throwing packages over my fence (I mean throwing from 8’ away from the fence and landing 15’ inside the the fence, I was putting my shoes on as he did it) this time I’m going to be calm and really freak him out

fedex is complete shit when they're doing the final delivery, but ain't bad when they hand it off to the post office

FED EX changed my address in their own. To an address I haven't been at in over 14 yrs.. when the day before it was actually on truck for delivery in Woodland Park.. and gets door dropped 1,100miles away next day.... tried contacting seller Nd shipper both... ended up with refund on my truss kits... and Wj is still sitting..I will absolutely flat refuse to use them now!!

Their timestamp was on it as claiming to have been here at 3pm. My camera footage shows everything between 2pm and 4pm. No truck.

I told the office I want to know where the GPS put the guy at that time. They can't release that info to me. I'm certain he never left the lot and just sat in the truck and did drugs and wrote down "attempted delivery" on every package.

This is mail fraud, to put in writing that you did something that you were paid for when you know for a fact you never did it. It's stealing. Fuck them.

Its all garbage. Only thing I was blown away by was the parts for my water heater came in on Saturday. They were due this coming Tuesday.

I have about $400 worth of stuff that was due here on the 9th. No where to be found.

The past two weeks I've just shopped at stores. I'm over the online bullshit.

For work, I stop at the Post Office twice a day. They went from seven people to three people. The look of defeat on the counter person when I dropped off the bag of mail was real. They just look spent. I go through their door, and its wall to wall packages and mail. They have four or five PILES of boxes. Like they were just dumped there. Haven't move in a week.

It'd be neat if someone like Elon Musk came by and redid their own mailing system. Just flat out rebuilt the whole thing from the ground up.

I HATE Feed Ex with passion. Usually if I order something and it is going to ship Fed Ex I cancel the order and re-order from someone else. They make 1 attempt to deliver and leave a note that it needs to be picked up at their terminal which is a 45 minute drive.

I just looked up my area, and the only thing they are looking for in the state are rural carriers, city carrier assistants, and mechanics. The only position with decent pay was mechanic, starting in the mid-$40Ks, everything else was hourly, temporary, and under $20.

Yeah... I'm not going to drive my car box to box all day for $18/hour. Fuck that.

Once again, supply and demand. Want decent workers, pony up the cash required for decent workers.

Not reading whole thread. Fuck Fed Ex. Horrible. They had a grade laser on the truck "out for delivery" 9 days in a row, I get a lady I can't understand on the phone, she says it will be delieverd today. Dude finally pulls in driveway, can't find package. I point to one of the appropriate size and ask him to scan it. He can't, there isn't a bar code. I grab the package, he insists I can't touch them, fuck you. Flip it over.....My name is on it. The barcode was down on a 30 lb package for over a week and he never picked it up to see where it went. Fuck that lazy POS, and every other FedEx experience I've had in the last decade. UPS is the shit around here. Drivers all know you by name and what your preferences are, know your dogs, say hi, but still hustle. If I get something through ATL UPS dist it will have the balcony drop test on it, otherwise I don't get much damage with them.

Reeealy? All that USPS tracking EVER shows me is "moving within the USPS system". They are a complete black box- throw something in the top, pay them a nickel, and maybe it will come out somewhere eventually. But at least they are cheap.


I think this entire thread is apples and oranges. International, domestic, last-mile, corporate account, counter walk-in, paid tracking, cheapest option...too many variables to mean anything.

They tried to deliver today, I told her I didn’t want it and that she could throw it away. She appeared like that happens all the time. Obviously it wasn’t the guy I yelled at before, I was nice to her and she was nice back
