I've never met JR but I wish he'd made it over here. His fab projects are always inspiring, if not a bit intimidating - dude's attention to detail makes a pedal bracket into fab porn :grinpimp:

I met him on a Sunday in JV when the dirty dozen were competing on the last day of the first Warn Rock crawling event out there. The Bronco was on big tires and kinda teal color.

I think you're right on that. Plenty of people click a youtube link with a girl in a Gstring only to find that the girl is never in the video, she's just there on thumbnail to bait the click.

So dig into your vault, pull up some nudes of your prior girlfriends and slap that ass on the cover of a vid and watch it soar.

the last words show that post/comment you grabbed was sent out April of 2020

so if the site went online 15 yrs from that date.. the site would be running 17 1/2 years from now

I said I took and uploaded these videos in Feb 07.. and you can look at the age of them for yourself

there were lots of rules that applied back then, and other details too including having to lower the resolution and size of the files.. my camera was making much better video than what I uploaded.. resolution wise

for a long time videos could not be longer than 10 minutes, which is partially why I only have two first halfs (bikini contest and wet tshirt contest)

both 2nd halfs had music that the artists made a big stink about.. so I had to delete them.. along with maybe 2 dozen other videos that had protected music.. at first it was a compliment to use your fav songs, and then they went the other way..

I had a few videos of me riding at offroad parks on ATVs.. and becuz of the bad ass music.. away they went

I also had a few videos that I might someday upload again which showed bunches of hotties playing it up for the camera.. with pieces of music all over./ maybe someday I will use someone elses music and reupload them again.. but Im not going out of my way looking

I rolled onto the lakebed about 15 minutes before Shannon crossed the line. I literally parked my truck and trailer right at the finish line. Not long after JR came in with fucked up steering. I dont remember if he had rear steer or not, I just remember him having no steering and it took him like 15 minutes to make the last turn to cross the checkered flag. Later Shannon made a great speech in front of maybe 300 people and then the party started. It was cool to be there for the first one.

thank you, and I would like to hear more fresh looks on many events across the country.. Ive been to maybe 10-15 sizeable events that were not shows, but there are so many more (mostly out of Texas).. Im sure I will stumble on to more.. sitting here reading late at nite..
edit a few min later: I consider it an event, if there are shirts for sale. although Im huge and getting large enough shirts at smaller shows isnt easy

No, the main reason that they have done so bad is that they suck. You've been told this many, many times by many, many different people. In fact, it happens every single time you repost these bullshit "Hey guys, look at this!" threads. Then some more time goes by, you self medicate yourself into a forgetful state, and can't remember that not one single solitary person has ever said "Wow FartFan, that's a really good video." You take shitty video of people (including yourself) doing things in a shitty manner (driving 12 feet into a mud pit and then bragging about your second place trophy) or yet another cringe worthy video of a woman who is obviously (except to you) completely uncomfortable in your presence, while you make such horrifically awkward comments to them that it makes the viewer suffer from such sympathy rape fear that they close the video and go shower.

So here you go, since it hasn't made it into that drug addled mind of yours yet:

The videos suck. All of them. The ones you made 15 years ago suck, the ones you made a year ago suck, and the ones you have made that no one has seen yet probably still suck. You suck at making videos. Your "degree" was a participation trophy from a non accredited school for developmentally disabled children. No one on this planet is ever going to ask your advice about anything that has to do with cameras, four wheeling, space travel, stereo design, or women. Your memories are acid flashbacks of other people's lives or movies that you've watched.

You are not, nor have you ever been, in any way, an artisan of anything.

A group of people who share the same opinion is not a band wagon. You are not being victimized. You continually come on here and repeatedly subject viewers to the same shitty videos you've pimped year after year, expecting a different reaction. You even had, once, a great many people offer you advice as to how to make your videos less shitty, talked with them over a few days like you were trying to learn, and then proceeded to make yet another shitty video.

I'm not being mean. I'm being a realist, using words that one day may perforate the film of illegal narcotics that has enveloped your brain, in the hopes that you'll either start trying to actually make some changes that will garner you better results than a couple hundred views in 15 years. And in the case that your mind is so far gone that you can't grasp even the most basic understanding of how to make a decent video then yes, stopping sharing shitty videos and disappear from the site is a suitable second choice.

Don't stop anything. The more you do it, the better you get.
The more you share it, the more feedback you get.

Of course, some of that feedback will be shit talking, but you already knew that, right?
Not to mention, even the shit talking feedback can actually help you sometimes because some people that talk mean still say things you can use to get better.

Not slap some ass on the thumbnails of your vids and rake in the clicks.

yes, people use to comment about my shaky videos

I eventually got one of these.. and it wasnt good enough..


so now I use a tripod.. I listened and paid attention and spent some money to improve my gear

Fact, youtubes creation date was april 23, 2005. Making youtube more than 1y/o and actualy time to start making party plans and sending out invetations for its 2nd birthday.

it says in that post that the you tube founder put up a video on that date..

but most people dont consider that a real start.. cuz customers like us couldnt upload freely for a while after that..

things were very different back then.. but if you really want to make a point of me being off 9 months or so.. from 15 years ago..

then sure your right about this..
