Found the original highlift from the titanic

This was burried 5' below what I thought was virgin ground below where a barn built in the 50s stood.... but it must have been fill for the barn.

Anyhow

On the east coat you'd have found a rust stain in the dirt. That thing is mint. Oil it up and send it.

I have a couple similar. I've used them for moving sheds around and trailer jacks mostly. Pretty "handy" once you figure out how to move the pawls to lower them. When going up they work automatically .

There might be a spring inside for them to work right too.

I'd say it came from the Roaring camp railroads

That's what mine is.
Frozen solid, it was yard art at the old house, haven't found a spot for it here.

Coors light may actually be in the high lift manual as recommended lubricant. I've never seen a stuck highlift that a shot of coors would not fix.
