At the hospithell.

Received a 3am call that my dads heart had stopped, and they had to revive him. Was there 30 min after, came to a majority of the staff by his room working on him.

Some explanation was given as to what took place, too much medical jargon for me at that time.

He is stable and sedated at the present time, they intubated him again this morning.

Just had a chat with the surgeon and some of the staff about the plans going forward.

Hug your loved ones, stay out of the trouble...

Edit:
This is what took place this morning:

In cardiology, "R on T" refers to a phenomenon where the R wave of a premature heart beat (ectopic beat) occurs directly on top of the T wave of the preceding normal beat, often seen on an electrocardiogram (ECG), and is considered a potentially dangerous situation as it can trigger a serious arrhythmia like ventricular tachycardia (VT) due to the vulnerable timing of the electrical impulse during the T wave.

What happened to him?

Get well well soon.
Sick since Monday. Brought him to the doctor yesterday. After testing they had us go inpatient. Further testing revealed Kawasaki. Caught it in the treatable window. One of those things no one knows where it comes from. He's on an immunoglobulin ****tail to treat it.

In. Hospital with my son. He's got Kawasaki, just started the meds to treat it. Will probably be here for a few days.

That storm isn't making it this far east.

Google’s description sounds pretty miserable for the little dude.. treatable window is good news

Work is slow as most are still off from holidays, so i just put in a half day. Helped my 80yo neighbor out after he ran his tractor out of diesel. Cracked injectors and it fired right up (Mahindra with electric fuel pump). Few chores, then we'll hit the gym for a few hours, sleep, then up at 4:30 for a 6.5hr drive in the morning to Cody WY for my boys first gymnastics meet of the season.

Just read a little on this, glad you caught it early.
Marlon (if I remember his name right) will push on right through this.

In- last three days have felt like **** and gotten nothing done. Feeling a bit better so odds are I will go work on the basement and probably overdo it and then feel like **** again. That said I think I am going to run out to grab some more cold meds, beer and prob some paint- because I know myself so well.

Nolan. Thanks man. Good luck with pops.

Thanks all for the well wishes! Kid is cranky as hell, but the meds should knock him out soon. We didn't know it was a thing either until yesterday. Just glad the doctor was proactive. Could be bad if untreated.

Worked yesterday and today. As work wrapped up saw the Shawn Ryan podcast about Vegas and listened to that.

Just finished an excellent dinner and now relaxing on the couch for a few.

Debating on heading to the shop for a few or staying where it’s warm.

Best wishes to those with loved ones in the hospital, get well soon.

Its 75° in my garage, sadly its it too much of a mess to pull a car in at the moment. Was on my to do list for my time off, but then we started a house project and I am apparently going to finally die a cold winter death from not getting vaxed :lmao:

Storm is hitting now with 20mph + winds. Hopefully we get a bit of snow.

Ugh. I've been wanting to take the lights off the house but the kids and wife like 'em up.

We ****canned the tree before NYE, but I guess I'm just going to be that white trash guy with lights on the house all year.
