Today was a busy day with work projects. We are a little scattered out right now with three projects an hour from the shop in different directions and the rest close by. It’s kind of a pain in the ass coordinating jobsite visits and meetings.
Daughter is at a basketball game, wife is in bed sick. I cleaned up the muzzleloader after work and put it away for the year, put away some hunting stuff, did dishes, doing laundry and folding clothes, and watching Vikings on Netflix.

We are going to a benefit tomorrow for a friend that had a brain tumor removed a month ago. We are helping with the silent auction and donated a 350 Legend for the live auction. It’ll be a quiet night tonight because tomorrow night will probably be a long one.

Ugh. I've been wanting to take the lights off the house but the kids and wife like 'em up.

We ****canned the tree before NYE, but I guess I'm just going to be that white trash guy with lights on the house all year.
We don't do a tree or lights on the house, yet. I want clear bulbs on the house year-round to turn on as needed.

I wish it was normal to leave all the lights up through February. It makes driving home in the dark more enjoyable.

Slept in and I didn't care. Checked my bank and see work had deposited $700 for a retention bonus since I haven't quit yet I guess. Worked out a deal on a newer beater than I got while sittin' on the throne and was very pleasantly surprised when I went and picked it up.

Not doing nothing special tonight just IRATE and Youtube. GF is makin' up appies for dinner and as usual she's making enough for 6 when there's just 2 of us.:homer:

Rack early so I can get up and get the new car into the garage and clean it up some.

In for sure.
This story doesn’t make sense so don’t try. 84 yr old MIL has lived with my BIL for years. She hates it but has no money. (Her fault - another long story). So she wants to live in a travel trailer so she can rotate between kids. (Not in my driveway)
RV dealer gives her a 15 yr loan based on her SS income. No car to pull it.

So now we are driving her and her new trailer from MI to AR to stay at wife’s sisters.

This overweight lady can’t get in or out of the truck without help. I literally had to help her step up on the curb at the gas station. How she thinks she can survive in a travel trailer beats me. My wife just shakes her head.

So, I’m half way through a 17 hour drive of listening to moaning and groaning. My wife is about done with her too.

The good part: after Tuesday I won’t see her for several months.

Work was meh, just glad the week is over.

Around ten thirty I get a text from Mrs, "Doing laundry, water is backing up in the shower pan". I ask her to cease laundry duties for now, I'll check things out when I get home. I narrowed it down to a blockage between the clean-out and the tank, or the tank is full. We ran to town to rent a power snake. It was dark by the time we got home. I'll tackle that job in the morning. We have options for bathroom jobs, I need food and rum for now

In. The boys are about to start ski lessons for the year. They changed the requirements for the better lessons for the youngsters. Kid needs to be able to navigate the slopes down the long carpet under control. So I spent the day on the magic carpet making sure he had the basics. I am a snowboarder so trying to remember 30 years old **** took a few. Lucky for me several of my fellow employees saw me and offered small tips for me. Got him squared away and had a blast doing it over all. Now getting ready to order a RecTeq smoker as well.

In. Prayers for ***RD son, Gtrplyr78 dad and Lumberjack.

Hauled some liquid fert today. Now home eating leftover pizzataco from last night. I need to get the garage cleaned and organized so I can get the buggy back inside before this ice storm. I decided to pull it out on Newyears day and rearange everything in there because I have a 30x40 shop worth of junk in and 18x24 garage. I at least have it cleaned out enough now to use the woodstove so I can work on it still even if its cold.

In. Probably just mill around the house. Meh.
Wife is pet sitting at the MIL'S so me and the kids are eating rich.
