Scored an Old Industrial Shop Sander for $125 and a 3 hour round trip. Guy had a new I 3 BMW. I chuckled as the rear radar Sensor halted the damn this when the bumper touches tall grass. Him trying to pull forward and repeat the process a few times before i yelled "Radar Sensor!" Sometimes it's the little things that can make my day.

Then Spent a few couple hours talking to a well Connected guy in one of my circles. Apparently I'm not able to retire at 50. But i was called galvanized this time. I think thats a better term than steel. I was Termed Steel last we talked. Fuckin Masons and their wordings are well. As for me being able to retire next year probably won't happen. I have a few more folks to talk to and i think they all will go as today wen't
 
After waiting two hours at the job site in Kokomo, IN. they finally gave up cause it was raining like a mofo and just was not going to happen today.

Just sitting back enjoying a few adult beverages now, nothing like getting paid for doing nothing.

Messed up my foot on the ladder this week hanging artwork. Got almost all of the arrowhead boards on the walls. Makes father very happy to see these again. He told me they were up in his old house, but I'm told they were at his father's house not his. Next is getting the rest his artwork framed.

Today wasn't smokey and only 90*.

It’s been another hot week. Finished harvesting some plots and almost finished shredding them before my shear pin left the chat. Spent some time in the office sending reports and invoices this afternoon. Now, I’m drinking a beer and making chicken fried steak strips. Not much else planned as I have to be up early for work stuff tomorrow.

no work today, ever since I started a clinical trial with radical treatment for my cancer, I only work 6 hours each Tues-Weds-Thurs...so, after working on a couple projects in the shop, Ive been relaxing around the house watching the temp hover around 105 most of the day...that 1 ince of rain I got last night didn't help with the humidity...

Friday beer time!

Week started shitty with mom havin a heart attack, but two stents later shes home and resting, her brother was able to fly down and is gonna hang for a couple of weeks. Big sigh of releif there.

Planning on Cars and Coffee tomorrow AM since Ive missed just about every event Ive wanted to go to the past few months. It's Hot Rod day so I figure the VW will fit right in :laughing:
Planning in seeing the new Alien mivie with the kids tomorrow nite :eek:

Week started off with me getting a call from the guy who leases my place to run his cows on, SOBS had tore the place apart, I still don't know what all they got out of the shed, or my motor home, They stole three of the wheels off my 91 D-150, to add insult to injury they used my jack and 4 way lug wrench. They stole my 84 W-250 with the swapped in 440 and my 67 Jeepster. Two sherriff investigators showed up, when I meationed the Jeepster he asked what color "Blue" he said I know where that is I saw it this morning. For those who don't know Jeepsters are kind of rare.

They hot foot it out of there, pretty soon I get a call "Can you get a couple of trailers we have your trucks. called my friend's brother, I went over to his house hooked up to a car trailer and he hooked up to his 30 foot gooseneck. When I had talked to my nephew he gave me two names and sure enough it was one of them. I am going through picking up stuff putting it back in the Jeepster that he had already started parting out, and in the back of his shed was my 413 short block!

My dodge they were already setting up to be a wood hauler (Joke was on them when it hits opperating temp the oil pressure goes to zero). Anyway one of the realtives is upset because his woodrack is leaving on the back of my truck on the gooseneck, then these other two clowns show up, when did hispanic males become such whiners? "Why are you always picking on me...."
Anyway the reason the officer had even been out there is the perp had stolen and dismantled the town computerised sign board, he was supposed to be going to rehab and had quit going. According to the investagator, this time he has crossed the line and should be going away for a long time.

Talking to my neighbors they said there was multiple vehicles involved so this guy is taking the fall for the rest of the crack heads. I asked if you heard all this why didn't you call me, we thought you were out of town! DUH you don't think I could call friends to show up?

There is a gate up for as muchhelp as it can be.

On a brighter note my eldest niece's eldest daughter interviewed for "The National Honor Sociaty" this morning I guess it's a pretty big deal the way everone was carrying on
Got a text from Beemerchef he is out of the hospital after back surgery.
 
In. Headed to Jacksonville to estimate a job on Monday figure take the wife leave tomorrow visit St Augustine Sunday. And back Monday night. Has panda for dinner. Was in west Palm beach all day. In impressed with the road blockades near mar a largo. Basically every red line was a moving barricade of car and concrete that you had to zig zag through with an additional block between. What’s funny is my guys have been told for the past 2 weeks that they had to take the long route to get to our job site I told the cop my job is the 6th house on left. The two whom has been coming for two weeks were upset that they couldn’t tell the same cop I spoke to the exact house. And we’re basically taking the long route for nothing. 😂
