What's new

Fnlc

It’s funny how ENTs have different ideas. My ENT wanted me rinsing every day after my surgery. The stuff I posted earlier was what he recommended.
What type of surgery did you have and when? I've read they are much less invasive now than back in the 90's. I had the ...... Window Luc?... maybe that's what it was called.

Dropped my daughter with her friends to go to a concert of some schmuck I’ve never heard of. Have to pick her up later, but I didn’t want her driving alone that late so it is what it is. Did take the opportunity to get a new power washer from Lowe’s for a cool laser level for our next home improvement project. We hit a little bar after and I had a good burger and a beer.
That's what a good father does. How old is she?

I pulled out all the artwork father has purchased over his lifetime and got the OK to get it all framed. :bounce2:

There are a bunch of cool cowboy actor prints. I've gotten all but six of the arrowhead shadow boards ready to go on the walls. The last things to go up are fathers Big Foot feet casting prints. Someone had made Big Foot prints in the snow one year and got on the news for it so he went out and made castings. I think there are six of them, so I have an idea with hooks I want to try to hang them. They are really heavy.

Nice little breeze after it stopped raining, my buddy over in tinmouth lost power. After the news doing the weather is going to kill us, it was disappointing. Lol

Yesterday the power flickered a few times, something on a pole a few hundred feet away was arcing nicely.

Bacardi superior is our “mixer” rum.

About a year ago I set out to find a “sipping” rum. I hit every liquor store I could find to buy the little airline size bottles of different rums. I even joined a rum forum for research. They vary widely in taste and alcohol content. I am still looking for rums I haven’t tried yet.

But I have found a few I like :homer:
We’ve shared rum recommendations before, Bumbu is good stuff, I’ll have to look for diplimatico,

My go to is brugal or pyrat

I need to look for those.

If you have Costco nearby, they have Diplimatico, and a couple others. Their house rum isn’t bad.

Thank you. I wonder if I could use it.

I tried the Neti Pot in 2007 and ended up with a horriblesinus infection. The ENT that did the sinus surgery in 1992 threatened me with a second surgery.

He acted like I should have known better than to use one. I think I had an infection going and that shoved it up into the cavity further.

Did you tip your head sideways when you used the Neti pot ?

I did, and it made a bad situation so much worse

This is what I use. Mix with warm water, usually spray it while I shower.

The Neil Med system has worked wonders for me post surgery/during high pollen days. It uses a saline solution that you mix yourself, and you can make it as strong or weak as you like.

Only use distilled water for the mix

Tap water just has too much crap in it that even after you boiled it will irritate your sinus cavities nooks and crannies

JohnnyJ’s advice of doing it in the shower is spot on:beer:

I usually place the mixed solution in a plastic bowl of hot water to warm the solution / keep it warm as I take a HOT shower, and do the rinse near the end. The hot moist air as you shower will help loosen all the schmoo so it rinses out better

... try it ...

It may just be the ticket for your chronic / recurring problems

I don't recall if I tipped my head or not. I know I had the solution squirting out my eyeballs.

I also used well water. That might have super fucked me there.

Nah! Still stop every chance I get ! I don’t care what anyone else does but the semi parking would be an issue .
