Fucking in. Pretty laid back day, service call this morning then paperwork.

I supervised my brother changing his breaks after work and he found out that he needed a rotor. I ordered them up from napa and we went in my truck to pick them up. He installed everything and it was good.

I jump in my truck to leave and no a/c  the diverters get hung up so I cycled the switch, nothing, reved the engine (vacuum controlled diverters) no change. Pop the hood, clutch not engaged, push the suction valve core, no freon

. I'm going to be checking it closer when it cools off. I would think that it would have an oil spot as quickly as it lost freon.

Dindunuffin most all day it's just too hot for me to work outdoors. I headed over to my old Mothers place for lunch and a visit, you would think that at 90+ she would be one of those elderly people who's always cold. Nope not her she had her place nice and chilly at 65 yay for me.

No plans for tomorrow so I'll maybe stay up a little later tonight after dinner. GF made a big crock of her famous pinto beans and requested some wings and home fries to go with, who am I to deny her that. It's gonna be a pretty gassy night for us I figure.

Woke up with a sinus headache from the smoke. Gave up and took Nyquil a few hours ago. Headache is gone but my eyes are swollen.
I have always had sinus issues, unfortunately my youngest has them too. I started using this stuff as a “why not… I’ve tried everything else 😩”. I really like it, my kid does too. She’s in Chico dealing with all of the fire smoke and says it helps.

This is what I use. Mix with warm water, usually spray it while I shower.

Got some more work done on the axle. Dropped another couple hundred on parts :shaking:

At least it'll be so overbuilt for the application it should never fail due to wear.

Everything except the caliper pistons, gears and pumpkin bearings is new :emb:

edit: drinking a beer, probably some vidja games, then chase the wife around the bed later, if I'm lucky. It's the last weekend with the youngest in the house before she's off to college :bounce:

Thank you. I wonder if I could use it.

I tried the Neti Pot in 2007 and ended up with a horriblesinus infection. The ENT that did the sinus surgery in 1992 threatened me with a second surgery.

He acted like I should have known better than to use one. I think I had an infection going and that shoved it up into the cavity further.

Out. Sleeping in a tent again tonight. Camping without a campfire is just pretending, damn I hate burn bans…. Wife made me walk all over this morning and I’m pretty tired. Daughter is sick so SIL prob can’t go fishing tomorrow, so I’m hoping the wife will cut this trip short and head home tomorrow instead of Sunday. Picking up a new to me, trailer on the way home, 10k so I can finally haul my skid steer around.

That’s a great feeling!

It kinda feels like, “I guess I did it right after all!”

Both of our kids moved out at eighteen. Both are doing well. We talk or text daily. Sure there have been hiccups, but they are both employed and in school (one still deciding on career, the other in nursing).

I’m a little proud 😋

In, nice downpour earlier.

procrastinating on fixing 1000 suddenly incomplete spreadsheet entries. Really don’t want to. :barf: “You can’t just change it, you have to leave a note who when what and why changes were made”

You told me to make the changes, why is that not good enough?

So I’m putting ecu pinouts onto a spreadsheet instead,

Fuk the gov!

Need a new bottle of rum, the kakira I tried was meh.

Nice little breeze after it stopped raining, my buddy over in tinmouth lost power. After the news doing the weather is going to kill us, it was disappointing. Lol

It’s funny how ENTs have different ideas. My ENT wanted me rinsing every day after my surgery. The stuff I posted earlier was what he recommended.

Bacardi superior is our “mixer” rum.

About a year ago I set out to find a “sipping” rum. I hit every liquor store I could find to buy the little airline size bottles of different rums. I even joined a rum forum for research. They vary widely in taste and alcohol content. I am still looking for rums I haven’t tried yet.

But I have found a few I like :homer:

I sure wish the kraken liked me as much as I liked it:laughing:

Incredible Pizza wasn't as bad as I was anticipating. I'm not a people person, but the place was pretty chill, this eve. Now, back to figuring out why Fusion 360 keeps screwing up my work.

Work schedule is returning to normal after a few months of trying to get everyone up to speed in a new accounting software and processes.

I took the Jeep in to get the AC fixed a week ago. I don’t know why I bother with shops anymore. They replaced the some valve cores and one of the lines for leaks. Went to pick it up and the AC didn’t work, they pull it back in the shop and it’s leaking at the connections to the firewall. They have five bins of O-rings open and can’t find the right ones. Apparently they are not standard and Jeep discontinued the part for an 06. Now we are apparently waiting for a dealer to source some. It’s been over a week… got to looking at it last weekend and the line they replaced they routed on the wrong side of the radiator hose. Also, the lines at the firewall (where it’s leaking) are all scarred up like they tried to pry apart the quick connects with a butter knife. I guess I just need to buy AC tools too FUCK.
