First time turbo talk

Well, I've committed. I'm pretty happy with the location and orientation now. The only thing I am unsure of is clearance for the pressure line. Down pipe will be making a hard bend down. Cold side will make a hard bend right. Hot side will be as close to the accessories as possible without being a problem. No turning back now.

These are the headers I'm using... my turbo will sit on the passenger inner fender where my brake booster is currently sitting... that will get moved behind the cab. The overflow will go on the battery tray on the driver side of the engine compartment. The batteries are also going in the back. The headers are ebay stainless China junk. They will work for now. I'm debating just getting the exhaust routed with a blank to go in where the turbo is just so i can get my rig moving and usable before i commit to the time it takes to install/ tune the turbo.

I purchased a pair of stainless up and forward headers like those. They fit even worse then the stock manifolds. So I returned them. It looks like you have a lot more room then I do. My build is a toyota pickup. No body lift. Frenched firewall.

Yeah mine is in an 08 gmc Sierra 2500hd. Lots more real estate than a Toyota. There's a build in the Chevy section, but not a lot of progress since I'm waiting on tires...
