What's new

Extra Puma trailer camper specs, please.

Another point if it's been sitting for 4 years. I'd have a grease gun with me. On the outside chance, it has the easy lube axles, so you can pump some grease into the axles before you take off
I tossed a grease gun in with the travel tools moments ago. We still need to get a three-ball hitch. 4Runner came with the tow package, and thus has a 7-pin flat socket already. Assuming that's what's on the Puma.

3 ball = zero height adjustment, you thinking that's gonna work good?

What year is the 4Runner?

Probably 5x4.5 pattern wheels and I'd guess ez lube spindles so the grease gun is a good call.

Indeed. I looked up the Lipperts and came up with 5x4.5 on those as well. I'd still like to know the exact model. Other than that, fairly good to go. Maybe a quick hop to a wally world or auto parts for a ball and/or harness adapter.

Gotta assume its gonna sag the 4 runner quite a bit
RV hitch is usually mounted fairly high on top of the tongue, the runner is gonna sag which will make for not ideal situation

Personally, what I’ve had a lot of success with is using something that says “F-350” or “Kenworth” on the side of it. That way when the bearings are fried you can use the 350 to shove the travel trailer onto the lowboy behind the Kenworth.

Got have something to keep me awake for 10+ hours :flipoff2:

You'll be awake.

Ever pulled an RV before? They're not balanced for shit. And to make it more fun next time you'll have water, and it'll be on one side of the axles going out and the other side coming back.

My bumper pull 18' camper is about 8k full of water. I still prefer the weight distributing hitch on my crew cab long box 3500s.
