What's new

Everyone ready for the PNW Bomb Cyclone?

Getting lots of snow in the Calgary region from this storm! Nice to have the brown get covered up for a while. It also broke the month long Chinook we've been having so we are dropping down to -5F and my pressure headache finally quit.

One night some supertrucker in a track suit lost it at the top of the hill headed south out of bend. They made us throw iron while we waited for the wrecker to clear him. I ran iron all the way to Chiloquin. A bit over 100 miles and after a bit I was the only one on the road either direction. Stopped to clear the ice off the windshield and a northbound plow truck stopped to make sure I was ok. Said he hadn't seen anyone all night.

Fuck that whole area in the winter. :flipoff2:
I call it the death zone. Down below isn't as bad, but up above Chiloquin is pretty rough for wrecks.

Had no idea this was even going on until I saw a FB post from my uncle. They're on the northern Oregon coast fishing and the RV park their in, all the trees are down, but the rv didn't get hit. Pretty amazing storm it sounds like.
