electri-tards bug zapper tech

Not attempting to dispose of them.

They are part of a flash lamp pumped dye laser system I built 35 years ago.

The thing puts holes in 1/2 inch steel plate!!

I think i found a suitable neon trans.

But for arguments sake id like to find a reg ol step up trans.

Problem is google is only giving my industrial bullshit that is micr or $500 units the size of cinder blocks.

I used to have a good site for shit but cant find it now.

Anyone got any GOOD component site recommendations.
 
Assuming you want 120VAC in, what output voltage would you perfer ?

I was hoping to open this thread and see videos of bugs exploding into flames and being blown clear across the yard. I R disappointed. :frown:

Guys juice them up with microwave transformers. 2000 volts 500 ma.:smokin:
 
The only reason i hisitate on going nuclear 15k/6ma is the high volt will want to bridge the grids and set off a jacobs ladder of perpetual arc.
