Found a hydraulic filter mount in my parts stash, relocated the reservoir and put the filter in the return line. Unrelated to the return to center issue. Filter is a Napa 1519 with a 1”-12 thread. No bypass valve in the filter but the mount has a built in one. The steel bracket is homemade and ugly.
