Did another large piece for this weekends swap meet today.

Having some fun playing around in the studio today. Mostly working with the laser.

made my first attempt at doing a laser etched canvas. It’s not bad, but I need to mess with my settings to get it better.

Putting a coat of clear on it certainly helped

Then I tried leather for the first time. Man does this stuff stink to engrave! Had to open the doors to vent the smell. Looks good though

Made a Custom tumblers available tumbler to display on my swap meet table. Really have the settings for these dialed in now.

Finished another batch of Maine topographic map magnets. These are a big seller for me at the swap meet.

played around with a cheap wood pig cut out I grabbed at Walmart. Didn’t quite come out as the image was shaped a bit differently than the cut out. Still cool though.

and I decided I need a coaster for my work station in the studio. So playing with a new program I modified an image to run on a slate coaster blank.

How about 3d printed tube bending dies. ABS? Might hold up for aluminum tube, maybe conduit or real thin DOM.

I’ve seen a couple of people do it. Definitely wouldn’t try to bend DOM or anything super thick with it. Could work for lighter thin wall stuff. At least for a little while.

Yeah. I spent a fair bit of time trying to make hands I was happy with but I just couldn’t get them right. They were just goofy looking. I’ll run a test print on this tomorrow and see how it comes out size wise and such.

and since it’s spooky season, did this one for my flea market booth this weekend.

I have since cleared this one and drilled a couple of holes in the top corners and added some twine so it can be hung as Halloween decor.

Needs a little tweaking to stand up on its own as a desk ornament, but here it is. The Irate salute!

I’m also thinking I will put a hole in the back of the head so it can be hung on a wall. Customizable with your username. Few more tweaks and I’ll do another test print and have final pricing.

Cranking out some of your guys orders. Still waiting on the cauldron blanks for the hocus locus stuff. But I’m doing the other pieces while I wait for them to arrive.

Signed up for a big craft fair in November so I’m starting to crank out Christmas crap for it.

some Christmas themed laser etched tiles. One on the left I experimented with multiple colors and layering.

snowman I laser etched then hand painted a few embellishments on

low poly Eevee piggy banks to go with the pikachu and charmander ones I already sell (my kid is super into Pokémon)

some nerdy Christmas ornaments. These are all Jurassic Park but I’m also printing Star Wars and Star Trek ones as well.

this one I really like. Bought these big wood ornament blanks. I laser etched it, then I sprayed it with red duplicator metal cast spray paint which is essentially a candy clear coat. Came out awesome.

and I laser etched this one. Debating how I want to finish it. Was thinking about tinting some epoxy green to fill in Wills hat and jacket, but the etch bleeds over into his head and hands too. Also gals between the boards.

Busy busy busy lately between custom orders and getting prepared for a huge two weekend craft fair I’m doing in November. Been cranking out product like mad.

Nice engraved wood Charcuterie boards treated and sealed with food grade mineral oil.

Some Elf themed decor

3D printed Christmas ornaments and lots of them.

Some laser cut wood earrings out of some scrap leftovers from other cut projects. Stained natural wood.

And I decided I wanted some apparel and branded items for the craft fair, so I finally got around to designing a logo.

This will be on my new business cards, a polo shirt, fleece, jacket, ball cap, beanie, and some pens I ordered from Vista Print. I am currently burning it onto a big water bottle for myself and then will be doing some slate coasters and other things with it as well.

I did get another batch of these cauldron blanks in that I made this Hocus Pocus decor item with. I have already burned and painted four of them for members orders on here. I have 7 blanks remaining. If anyone wants one let me know!

Also finished this pretty badass crystal dragon today. Printed in a 3 color filament so the color shifts depending on the lighting and viewing angle. It’s fully flexible and posable. The wings open up and move as well. Making these for the upcoming craft fair in Bangor. These will go for $40.
