The first three are the only ones that matter. The rest are pure faggotry.
this.

watch the 1977 movie first, then watch the Searchers with her... she'll see what a thief Lucas is... then watch Empire and the third one and say, 'thats all that is not complete crap.'

Its fucking entertainment dude. Well, Star Wars use to be at least.

Nothing different that watching Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, seeing a concert or going to a fair. I don't watch much TV or movies. Havent seen a movie in years in fact. Last TV I watched was Better Call Saul like 2 years ago now I think. Maybe less. I will throw on a baseball game but that is about it. There are just some cultural movies that I will watch. Forest Gump, Private Ryan, fucking Armageddon, shit like that.

Never see the need to come into a thread to tell everyone how I am more high and mighty than the discussion topic but you do you.

You have my utmost respect in knot tying I guess. :flipoff2:
If you think I was acting high and mighty then you need to read the post again. It was admission about time I waste on stupid bullshit that doesn’t matter.

I was just thrown off by the tone of the op like he had forgotten to teach his kids to brush their teeth or behave in a restaurant.

It's just Star Wars, if you have seen the originals in the last few years… well they are better than modern movies at least.

Depending on kids personality and if you want them to like it, ewoks were cool when I was 6 or 7

I do really appreciate how Lucas had the foresight to make the desert the backwards shithole even in 1977.

I'm trying to watch the new series (Acolyte) but fell asleep watching the third episode. Twice, during two different viewings. I like that they want to go somewhere that isn't around the same time as the "Skywalker Saga," but they aren't doing a good job at it. One of the main characters comes across as dorky to me ("attack me, with all your strength!")

Solo would have been an okay heist movie if it wasn't in the SW universe. Rouge One is good, and still would have been a good war movie outside of the SW universe. Andor is good, but talky and could turn off people who just want action. I don't mind Mandalorian. Obi Wan series was okay but kind of fucks up the original movie.

Part of the problem is that Disney bought a property that has maybe the most popular villain EVER, and the villain is dead. Disney keeps resurrecting Vader with varying levels of success.
