In a lot of cases, the parents are the main driving factor behind it. Having a trans or alphabet soup kid is almost looked at as a status symbol now days.
Look at the show, I am Jazz. Mom on that show is a prime example.
 
I would say the parents are always at fault when you’re talking about a 10 yr old or something. But when you’re talking 16, the deck is 100% stacked against parents. Every one of these therapists will tell the parents their choice is between a suicided natural kid or a happy transitioned kid. “You choose-you want your kid to kill themselves? What kind of terrible parent would march eyes wide open toward their kid’s funeral?” They get this from a therapist, from every teacher, from the doctor—all their supposed resources.

You’re also all correct that this doesn’t happen to strong parents at NEARLY the same rate. But still—often times the parents are just as victimized.

Jordan Peterson has some good interview stuff on this. He was talking how in Canada a doctor cannot even suggest or refer psychological evaluation if a child brings up wanting to be trans. That would infer potential mental issues with that demographic of people. They have to skip all of that right into transitioning procedures.

Saw it happen in Colorado from my wife's coworker. She was super liberal and progressive with two adult daughters. They were both diagnosed autistic in their youth when that was the in vogue issue. Then in their older teen years one decides they're gay and the other decides they're gender fluid. I honestly think all of this shit was driven by their mother who just wanted children that fit the in vogue issue of the moment.

Have a friend who's ex has been grooming her son to be trans since he was an infant. Wouldn't cut his hair, dressed him in girl's clothing, gave him girl toys to play with etc. He is 10 YO and truly believes he is a girl. His dad has always stood opposed and did whatever he could to keep his son on the right path, but now he won't see his dad for visitation anymore. My friend is in the middle of a knarly divorce with his ex and unfortunately he will probably lose everything for standing in the way of transitioning his son. I have no doubt the poor kid is on puberty blockers and is booked to have his fake tits installed and his junk lopped off the day he turns 18. Sadly, he will likely kill himself before he gets there, as most trans kids do.

His mom is ultra extremist leftist pinko commie living with another bull dike who she was cheating on her husband with. She's very mentally ill and now she has ruined her son as well. I hope she burns in hell for what she has done to her family.

My daughter has a friend who's Mom is exactly like this. I swear she jumps at the chance to make sure everyone knows she has a gay son.
The other son (daughters friend) spends the majority of his time with his Dad and is basically the normal one. I wouldnt be shocked if he ends up transitioning because gay is so blah, no one cares now.

Before i reply let me say I’m all against any child hormone therapy/surgery/irreversible action


There view is that by the time they are an adult their hormones have developed their bodies into something they aren’t.
So that’s why they insist on providing the treatments at young ages.

You have to take each case for what it is.
Parents, doctors, psychs, teachers, gov, peers, the person themselves - all can play a part in this evil, to varying degrees.
I don’t think it’s right to tar various players with the same brush all the time.

I work urban EMS mostly in one of the worst cities in the US but also work transport EMS in some rural areas. The stupid trans drama shit I see I will explain when I can during the day after I get some rack time.

This. I mean, classic liberalism is basically libertarianism. The modern definitions of liberal and conservative are just all over the map and basically defined by our two major parties which are both all over the map.
