I found a URL at a price I find reasonable so I'm wondering if that old forum, as a group, is interested in moving to a new home. Since I'm not allowed in chat yet ... would one of you Plowsite members mind posting a vote over there for me? I have some prepared text for it.

Not sure if it would get you a ban, or if you care, but I'd like to know what the rest of the forum thinks about it.

I may or may not do this. Or maybe my alter ego will.

I have no problem either way.

I did PM several people before going public with it for their reactions. A few of the replies are based on habits. Some are members here already. But they are in the habit of posting there, others post there that aren't posting here that they still interact with, or want to.

I have no problem with either option. And you are very likely already aware of this, but it wouldn't take off right away because of habits. I just don't want you to spend money and then not have the results you hope for right away.
 
Just checking back in on this. Curious what the pulse is over there after 6mo or so of Vertical Scope’s management. If you guys want to create a separate board, with your season fast approaching, I feel like it would be a good time.

I think it's a great idea. There are a bunch of people who left PS because of people like Mark and a few other complete jackasses. Unfortunately he has now spent some time on this forum when he wasn't getting his way on PS, but it looks like he's gone now.

Now that mark is butt buddies with the moderators over on VS he's back where he belongs. There are a large number of us though who are using a small facebook group, be happy to share a good forum with them if there is one with decent traffic.

PS is ok, but as everybody knows, VS took over, put dumbass mods in place, and the rest is history.
 
Some are on here because they've been banned from PS ans LS. A few of them just like to argue and won't listen to the moderators, who are donating their time to avoid the people at VS from stepping in.
It is what it is.
There's a greater selection of threads here and I enjoy the diversity.

Yes, Mark is a real A-hole, but the powers that be back in the day would never let me kick him to the curb permanently.

That is the issue. New mods appointed by VS are power tripping. Same old story on every forum they take over. IN case you didn't know, VS already stepped in on both sites you refer too, then the problem came.
