Craigslist (new to me) scam

A suspicious email from Firstname.Lastname## gmail address is always a scam in my experience. See it all the time on craigslist in fake ads where they want you to reply directly to their email address, instead of using craigslist email relay that hides your email address.

All this shit feeds on understanding and carefully exploiting human emotion and wants. Not that hard even in Nigeria.
I recall my last CL sale and it was sweet and easy. The guy called me after a text and it was obvious it was a genuine offer. Way back in the day, I was married but the guys at work were all on CL personals having Penthouse Forum glory. Great times

Fake credit check site that you can't cancel when you join...you know one of those $.99 to use today, you bill be charged $39.95 a month after with no way to contact or cancel. I called my CC and they were like "no biggie, we will send a new card with a new number." I use CreditKarma to monitor my scores etc. to squash any new acct. they try to open.
