The last pair already got ripped apart by the claw. They came out of a farm that sold, the buyer got half his purchase price back by selling 2 antique Indian motorcycles that were in the barn and hes scrapping all the old trucks and equipment.

How many of the ford c series do you want? I know of 4 in my town and i could prob scare up another dozen on 1 rd on seperate farms.
I was more concerned with the harvester, and the old Ford heavy cab, I wouldn't turn down a C series, but need another vehicle like I need an extra hole in the head. I suppose I could swap a good cab onto a rusty high boy I have with a 390..... that would make a neat flat bed crawler.

Oh there was a supercab f250 390/c6 with air there too. Came in on the back of the international.

Patiently pacing the house tapping foot , waiting for pics !
Well I lied about it being a drilling rig. I believe it's a pole setting rig, the original dark green matches what Bell Telephone trucks used to come in. It's a 1956 S160 4x4 that has the heavy front axle. What I'm excited about is the bed is pretty pristine and you can tell it wasn't beat like alot of old work trucks were.

It was last used for business by Del's Electric out of Culdesac ID. It was used to set graineries and possibly pull well pumps. It was donated for the Shebang Day auction in Culdesac about 20 years ago or so. The guy and his cousin I bought it from won it, he said alcohol might have been involved. He had someone borrow it to do a combine engine and that was all he used it for, he got the title in 04 so it's been sitting close to 20 years. I've been driving by it for over 10 years where it sat by Highway 95 just south of Culdesac. I stopped by last fall and asked if he was interested in selling it, he said he had to ask his cousin too. It took a few months but mid December 2023 he got back to me and we agreed on a price and that pick up would be this spring when the roads are better.

Well spring is here and the truck is now in my yard.:grinpimp:

It's heavy, 64 mph and up it didn't tow so well behind my Ram 5500, 62 mph was fine so I kept it there or under all the way up 95. I left Post Falls around 930 this morning, got to location at 1230. I had to air the left steer tire up from 0 to 50 and the right from 20 to 50, the rears were ok for loading. Got it loaded with sellers backhoe and my cable and snatchblock, only had to reposition once near the end because we hooked the cable on the bucket and the rear backhoe tires dug holes. Flipped hoe around and hooked to the rear of it and it finished pulling it up no problem. Loaded,.chained down and pulled out of seller's driveway at ten to 2. Got home around 430. Here's some more pictures.

If you are planning on dismantling this truck, do not destroy the pump pulling part. That will have valve to somebody.

Ours fits a long bed truck, had a rebuild and painted, it cost 11k, it's from the 80s.
Not dismantling the truck. Going to keep it as is and get it functioning again. Hard to find a truck of this era with a specialized service body that isn't all torn up or poorly modified. My 1957 S180 4x4 is case in point.
