Dad worked at Willamette 4wd back in the late 70s/early 80s when they were doing those, I can remember him bringing one or two home for buddies to check out.

I had a 72 240z as my first car.Not my hood, but cool as fuck. DD/drag car belonging to the tuner guy I use.
My father owned a Nissan Datsun, that transition period. 2 wheel drive, five speed, flat bed, duals, and apparently a 1 ton capacity. Top speed was 72 miles an hour due to gearing.620 Datsun
