Those SU carbs are a PITA. IMO the best thing he could do is replace them with webers.

They were not too bad. He has the little tool with the floating ball to sync them.

It has whatever carbs were more desirable. Cant remember if its the round tops or flat tops.

Bullshit. Now, the '73-74 carbs (flat tops) were shit. Replace them with a set of 70-72 round tops. They're easy to tune and run well. Polish them up and they look better than the webers as well.
