Isn't the top removable on that Alpine. Had a friend with one, small inside but a fun car for its time.

It's a Tiger and yes, top is removable. Doesn't run, but comes with a spare 289. IF I buy it I will rebuild or have the 260 rebuilt depending on where I'm at with the bronco motor swap.
It has a Ford engine?
Yup sunbeam Tiger, Carroll Shelby partnered with them and dropped 260's in them.

I was aware it was a tiger. A squirrelly but fun car. We usually had the top off. Didn't drive it in the winter.

I've seen factory 273's and 289's in them.
I had an Alpine, dropped a destroked 400 SBC in it. It was a real handful when you punched it.

Cooling is your biggest hurdle on those, no where for the air to go. Redoing the latch so the hood stays up 1/4" really helps.
Next issue is traction, wheel wells are to small for good rubber.
Square corners on the doors and hood, late model. Trunk square corner too?

This one is in New Orleans, there is another, same color in Baton Rouge that is even nicer.
I'd kill for that bronco. They are near impossible to find for any reasonable price around here.
Quit trying to hog all the good stuff. Be happy with your FSJ and let the rest of us have a chance.....
