The place that builds my hoses makes those for me in whatever length or degree of bend, not pulls them out of a bin. Just curious was all.Just tall fittings.

That's awesome. The place that builds my hoses makes those for me in whatever length or degree of bend, not pulls them out of a bin. Just curious was all.
are you supporting that filter assembly or just relying on the fittings?
Soo thinking ahead. I part i had not planned on adding, but have been considering is on board air. I have a york on my current rig, and while I rarely use it for me, I am often using it for others. MY truck is often the resuce rig, has the random bolt, etc. If i take that same a pproach with this buggy it will become a pig(like the current).
So add OBA? or skip and let someone else be "that guy"?
Options would be VIAR, ARB, etc. Not engine driven.
this rig is the nimble small and not meant to be the 6k heavy rig with all the tools. with that being said a small compressor in a bag is not a bad idea. bring with to the trail. if someone else that day has air leave it with the trailer. but if you are going ARBS and need a compressor any how then that's a different story.Soo thinking ahead. I despise “TV” cables with a passion. I eliminate them by using manual valve bodies that also do constant pressure. As best I know all my buddies running 904’s have manual VB’s in them and just 1800 to 2000 rpm stall converters from Hughes. That doesn’t mean it won’t move at idle. It means the torque converter isn’t grabbing really hard until 1800~2000 rpm.So this place is a wealth of knowledge....I starting to research trans stuff. I got my standard gate winters shifter bracketry in stall on the trans. In looking and reading, the TF904 has a kick down cable from factory...is this something I need? I have not decided on a torue converter, stall speed, or valve body either yet.... Thoughts? opinions? Ideas?
Tell me more. I am auto trans DUMB, literally have been wheeling a sm465 only. I have never messed with autos...I despise “TV” cables with a passion. You don't need a kickdown cable with a manual valvebody.Tell me more. I am auto trans DUMB, literally have been wheeling a sm465 only. I have never messed with autos...
I don’t know what else to tell you. If you want the transmission to shift it’s itself when in drive you have to make the TV cable work and work right. If you don’t mind manually shifting your automatic. Constant pressure manual VB’s solve a couple problems.Tell me more. I am auto trans DUMB, literally have been wheeling a sm465 only. I havent yet. It will likely be something small 12v, cheap, but havent decided.Did you ever make a decision on air compressor RE discussion above?
Very happy with my dual ARB as well. Put a small 2 gallon air tank hoping air tools would maybe be possible, I was sadly mistaken lol. Does great for my locker and airing tires back up though.I had the dual ARB compressor on my JK. It kicks ass. I have the single ARB on my buggy for my locker and it works hard to air up a tire. (But lots of volume in a 43)
Are you using the new brushless? I bought the old design literally like a few weeks before the new brushless came out and wish I'd waited.Very happy with my dual ARB as well. Theres threads here that list it out better than I can likely explain. 10.25 gears fit 99-10 10.5 housings with 10.25 install kits. When I looked at install kits for my 10.5 some sites laid it out really nicelyso in looking ahead, I will have to gear axles at some point. My OG plan was to go 5.38's. Spool front, factory elocker in the 11+ sterling. I couldnt find gears, or a yoke fo that sterling, So went with a 05-10 housing. Welding my brackets on right as gear were released..
I have been researching, East coast gear lists 5.38 for the 10.25, not the 10.5. i ASSume i just get the setup kit for the 06, and then the 10.25 gears?
5.13 gears for sterling 10.5???i forgot about thatTheres threads here that list it out better than I can likely explain. 10.25 gears fit 99-10 10.5 housings with 10.25 install kits. When I looked at install kits for my 10.5 some sites laid it out really nicely
You started the thread ****er5.13 gears for sterling 10.5???
