Sorry about posting the HELP prefix. I was frustrated and did not read the fine print.

Aint it responsible for timing adjustment?
Otherwise it is an open circuit till jumped, seems the puter wont miss it.

their is not much left of the stock harness left. we had it running 2013 B. But like a dumb ass I want to clean up the harness. I don't know if it will run again. hear is what i an going by.

Looking at that you see the lead from the puter marked as
T
goes nowhere dead ends.
thusly is not needed.
It only connects to ground to complete a circuit for the timing.
When jumpered you adjust the timing ( why it was mentioned as handy to have)...

Here is a pic of the re puter in my truck if it helps at all.
The bussbar has the codes printed on it.

So if i unplug ast I might have to time it? What about the about the other wires?

Huh?
Lookup the correct way to time a re, then see why you need to retain the check connector.
You can probably do some math on the offset the puter puts in place, but what else is it doing to the system is voodoo to me.

If you checked the old Bible, I think you need 7
?7? Wires to run an re.
A few to run the block ( starter, alt, ect).
Everything else is extra weight.
More or less.

I'm sure the peanut gallery will flame me for such a quote/ statement..
