Carbon Shocks has come a long way over the years, and we’re always eager to listen to feedback and provide answers to any questions you may have. We’d like to take a moment to invite you to an open Q&A session where we can address your inquiries directly.

Feel free to post your questions about our products, the brand, technology, or anything else, and we’ll be happy to share our insights.

People always have questions and don't often get to hear from the other side and we want to be an open book!

Thanks for taking the effort Daniel. I already have mine from you guys, but a good breakdown of the vehicle weights, by shock body size you guys recommend, and the available options in each body size might be helpful

A chart of shock size, area the nitrogen charge presses on, and fully compressed volume of the nitrogen charge would be awesome. Basically the ability to model the static force of a shock or coilover at all travel lengths.

Cant start with an easy on huh! Lol! Great question! Ill type it out for ya to explain soon.

Dive right into physics! :)

well you have my attention, i have decided on 2.5" x 16" airshocks yet....the price is certainly competitive.

Glad to see you guys make it over here. I’m pretty happy with my 2.5” shocks on my Ram 2500 that I got from y’all last year. At some point I would like to upgrade to adjustable reservoirs if I don’t end up going 3” bypass stuff before then

Do ya'll make shims, seal kits, and other service items easy to find/obtain? Do you use shims shared with Fox or King (interchangeability)?

We currently have over 1 million shims in stock, available in thicknesses of .08, .10, .12, .15, and .20. We also offer rate plates and thick washers.

Our shims share compatiblity with Walker Evans and Bilstein shocks, using a 12mm ID. While some may use Fox shims at .5" in an emergency, we recommend using the correctly sized shim for optimal performance.

All of our seals are American-made Dysogrin, and we keep thousands of them in stock across all sizes, including O-rings. While our parts are listed on our website, we're in the process of simplifying our kits in the coming weeks. Ben at Filthy Motorsports has provided helpful guidance to streamline what customers need and make their experience easier.

Seals and O-rings can be easily sourced from any O-ring and seal supplier, but we also sell directly, and all dealers have access to our parts.
