CaNaDa square headed screw vs Merica Phillips head screw

Square and torx both suck. You have to have the correct size. Like I really need another tool that I guess the size and have to go back to the tool box. And of course, if you happen to have a complete set except for one size, guess which size you need? With Philips, one size fits all. (Or at least most)
What do they use on helicopters?

I had a camper with square drive screws. Only thing good about it was it was easy to grind ny own screwdriver for them.

Love the robertson slender head trim screws for cabinet work. :smokin:

Zip screws (Philips) are one of the best screw types ever invented if you're zippin sheetrock. :flipoff2:

Robbies are about 842% better than Phillips. Torx are good but what a bitch to find good drivers.
Just buy a box of the cheap ones.

15 pack for $12
Should get ya through any project.
I just figure the price into the cost of whatever I’m doing.
I look at them as supplies/consumables

YMMV

Do you store that think on the ocean floor? Good god man that is one rusted ass screwdrvier.
That's why it got chopped up and converted into a triangle. I am a hoarder, you better believe that I salvage everything that may still have some use in it.

CHecks out.... My house was built by an electrician and all screws in the place seem to be square heads.

My house was "remodeled" by a retarded home owner at one time. Every thing he did has 2" stainless steel Phillips head screws in it. Most of them were half stripped out. Some were fully stripped out :mad3:
