Bump stock ban .. banned

how do you appeal the USSC?
You don't lol

The only thing that can bring it back now is Congress passing a law or individual state laws and those would still likely be overturned if challenged. Though I'm sure the most liberal states will pass bans anyway if they don't have them in place already.

that's what I am saying. CLB said something about appealing..

It's pretty arrogant the ATF thought they could define bumpstocks as machineguns when the NFA explicitly defines what a machinegun is ("...more than one round per single action of the trigger."). It's a bit worrying that 3 left-er leaning justices sided with them on that illogical idea.

Sweet, anyone got a link where to order one? :smokin:
You're probably gonna wanna wait til the rush to buy dies down and prices normalizes. Just Iike the braces I'm sure prices are gonna jump up for a while.

Nah, it wasn't overturned on constitutional grounds; it was overturned because the ATF made up a new law without Congress's approval.

Congress could ban bump stocks if they wanted to.

The fuck you mean link? That's your job. :flipoff2:

Nothing changed with the brace ruling, time just ran out for the Feds to appeal which everyone knew was going to happen.
Yeah I know right, it feels awkward asking for one.

I need to buy a new stock for my AR47 anyway so ya know...

I imagine you're right, prices will die down in a few months after they're on sale again.

That's literally what I said.

In my opinion, Trump was simply throwing the dogs a bone as it could have been much worse.

Democrats really didn't and don't know what a "bump stock" is so here....chew your dumbass on this for awhile.

Yes, it sucked but honestly a "bump" stock is nothing more than a novelty. You don't need a bump stock to bump fire. Sure it helps for a retard to be able to do it but still.

That however is simply my opinion.

This is the part I was responding to. It won't be overturned if Congress specifically bans bump stocks rather than equating them to machine guns through administrative action.
Why? What authority does Congress have to ban them? It's unlikely such a ban would be upheld at the SCOTUS. Right now it's unlikely the NFA would be upheld if a challenge to it made it to the Supreme Court.
