What's new

Black Friday Sales 2023

I am trying everything that I can to not go Apple AirPods. I currently have Beats Flex so I can talk while I am operating a machine. They no longer pick up my voice worth a damn but I love that they are always hanging around my neck and work as ear plugs at a moments notice.

I have never used AirPods but I have some JBL Tune 200 ones that I like BUT the microphone doesn’t block out ambient noise at all. Only cost $60. I bought my wife some Sony wf-1000XM4 wireless earbuds and I haven’t personally used them but they block out ambient noise on the microphone very well. I paid around $95 for the Sony as “open box” on eBay. Used to for around $80-100 on eBay and about $170 new. I wanted to stay away from the AirPods for no good reason.

Advantage 10k lb 2 post lift $1,995 and free shipping.

One of the younger nephews is into model rockets. I got some Estes kits off the Jungle place, but motors, igniters, and wadding is cheaper at Hobby Lobby. Jewels doesn't usually need much of an excuse to go there.

One of the kits I got comes with a launch pad and push button launch control.

I bought some cheap components to put together a "command center" in an ammo can and use one of his dad's M18 batteries to launch rockets with. Fighter plane style safety cover toggle switch for arming and a BIG RED button for ignition. Big LED count down timer too of course. :smokin:

I went to hobby lobby and bought a two rocket kit for my so. A few years ago. Maybe last year. i found a 25 pack of A rockets because it didn’t matter how high they went. Just launching it was the joy. I’d recommend buying extra rockets. Not the engines, but the actual rocket. Things burn up in the field which ends the fun.

cool idea making the command center. Hopefully they enjoy it.

I've been pleased with these Sennheiser, I was against Bluetooth ear buds until I got a Pixel new enough to not have a 3.5mm jack. They're about $10 cheaper for Cyber Monday than when I bought them back in June.

$499 at tsc for another 3 days

To me, same as AirPods. The Beats Flex hang around my neck until I need ear plugs or need to talk on the phone. Not losing them and there is no digging them out of my pocket. Wish the mic worked better

That jewel looks clean.
Yeah it is. In the middle of a restoration, seller took three M24s and made one good one so it has all the hard to find parts that are always MIA. Seller thought sourcing parts for a 1943 International M24 was too easy so he is working on a WWI Nash Quad restoration, I think he said it's a 1918. Hopefully he'll have it done this next summer, he is currently getting a valve built for the engine. He said he'd give me a ride in it when it's done.:usa:

Grabbed some Duluth Trading socks for like 50% off, my yearly restock from Roark and BRCC had some coffee pods half off
Not a huge score, but good deals on the stuff I use and needed.

Pre-Black Friday deal but same price. Spot welding “vise grips” and some real domestic C clamps. Chucked my PRC ones out, I’ve bent several

The vise grips are supplied by Gray Tools Canada. They buy from Grip-On (Spain). Snap-On rebrands these units and I had a collection I started two years ago.

Nice stuff! Other than that vitamins… but that was only 10% off. Better than nothing!

I love ours. If you do fried rice, cook the rice the day before and put it in the fridge over night covered by a towel. It will let it dry out a bit and not turn to mush like freshly cooked rice will. Makes a huge difference.

Nespresso milk frother for $70, the Honey's email said it was $49.99, but had jumped to $70 by the time I saw it. I paid $105 for the stupid thing 2 years ago for Jewels' Christmas gift.

I'm a black coffee drinker, but Jewels uses it every day.
