Man-lifts and forklifts are always way underestimated on weight. They can be very heavy, it’s funny how some people try and haul them.
yota82 nailed it
If that was built as a car trailer, it would have another layer of C channel above that, that was a landscaper trailer they cut down, maybe even added 8k axles later
ive worked on a 14k trailer that had a 6" tongue14k should have an 8" channel tounge.
I believe it, I should have put ~8"ive worked on a 14k trailer that had a 6" tongue
Which would be about right for a 7000# trailer before it got a pair of oversize axles stuffed under it.That doesn't look like a 6" tongue. Hitch shank is 2". That's probably a 4" or 5" tongue.
Its not broken yet :DEveryone discussing the trailer and no one has even mentioned the 1500 3rd gen ram?
I bet the rental place won't think it is.That is impressive...

Hope he likes the new trailer he just bought.
He was backing on, and thinking he was almost there.i don’t know how the didn’t see it start to bend and stop loading it.
The damage charges will likely be impressive...I bet the rental place won't think it is.
I always buy the insurance, which is probably dumb considering that I would have no problem fixing a welded steel assembly myself and rent the damn things using a visa gift card"Before I return this rented trailer I would like to point out that I bought the extra insurance."
Might even straighten itself out driving it offJust put something equally as heavy in the center. bend it back.
